Toby sat in the tree quietly, letting his legs dangle as he watched the road, watching silently as the cars of all colors flew past in quick blurs, eyes slowly following them. At any screech of the breaks, at any small swerve, Toby would flinch. He was sure that he was too close to the road, that anyone could have seen him from the road, but he didn’t care at this point. What would they do, call the police because there’s a man sitting in the tree?
The male shrugged it off, it was nothing to worry about, and let his eyes scan the dark woods behind him, feeling a sudden surge of energy and humming to himself, fixing his hood before jumping down with a soft thud, letting his fingers play with the tip of his hatchets as he made his way back into the trees. He caught a glimpse of bright green and yellow, which only made Tony grumble and twitch in annoyance, crossing his arms over his chest but keeping tense. “Ben, get your a-ass out here, dickhead.”
