Alphonse grew up with no mother and a good for nothing father who spends mornings half dead and evenings wasting away in alcohol, and grumbling about being poor. He was practically raised by the most poverty-stricken and crime-ridden neighborhood in Switzerland, where the only way to ensure survival was to become a criminal yourself.

He learned thievery at a very young age. it began with pickpocketing and lockpicking, small break ins and robbing the most mundane of things. But his crimes grew as he did and what began as meager acts of survival became big heists, organized crimes, bank robberies, drug trades, until it wasn’t just smuggled goods that were in his hands.

Blood – bright crimson and warm, staining his fingernails, covering every inch of his palms. Soon enough, Alphonse was stealing the very lives of people who get in the way. It made him feel powerful and unstoppable.

Through all the abhorrent and contemptible things he did to make a living, his best friend has always been there for him to come home to. And though she detested his wicked ways, she made Alphonse feel loved and delivered him the warmth of a home and a family nonetheless.

Alphonse hadn’t even celebrated the outpouring of wealth from a break in, when the news of his best friend’s own demise became the talk of the town. She fell in a ditch, they said; slipped on the frozen streets and stumbled. But Alphonse knew better. His streak of misdeeds has finally caught up to him.

And though revenge was his first plan of action, his best friend’s words in his head were far too loud for him to ignore. Her death was what prompted him to purge out all of the demons that he let take over his mind and his heart, and start anew. He enlisted himself in the Swiss Army and resolved to leave the life of crime he has lived all his life.

Due to his outstanding performance in the military, he was soon recruited by the Federal Intelligence Service and was later sent to train royal heirs in Operation Sovereign.

Alphonse is generally withdrawn and keeps no connection with anyone, this rooting from the trauma he acquired, losing his best friend. The only thing that matters is doing his job properly and having a few shots of whiskey every night before going to bed.

Unlike most, the royal family of India was very warm, loving, and tight-knit. This made Sania grow to become especially sprightly and free-spirited. But despite having a loving home, she still couldn’t help but feel rather overlooked sometimes. She was the second-born. It has always been about the heir, never about Sania. She was just another child, just waiting to be wed off to someone.

But Sania didn’t mind. Being overlooked meant she could easily disappear from the castle grounds and never be noticed. She loved going out and experiencing the greater world out there – meeting commoners, and eating street food, playing with children of her age, and learning how Indians truly were. She loved her country. She loved her people.

Scraped knees and dirty palms were far from foreign to Sania. She has never really been one of those refined princesses. She puts on a good ruse for a while but eventually trips on her dress or knocks down an expensive decoration. She is a giant klutz and having to train to be an agent scares her to death, knowing her incapability.

All his life, it was drilled in his head that he was going to be king, that he was going to inherit the whole country of Italy. Never was a day that he wasn’t reminded of the great responsibility cast upon his shoulders. And never did it not feel heavy.

Leon never failed in every role that he played. He was an obedient son, a caring brother, a stellar student, a supportive friend, and he was an exemplary prince. But despite excelling in the life that he lived, Leon never felt like he was enough; never felt like this life of luxury and responsibility was for him. A simple life away from it all was the one luxury that he could never afford. In his hands were the life of more than 60 million people, after all.

Being the eldest and the future king, he was raised differently from how his siblings were. While they were off playing, Leon was always with his father, learning how to be a proper king. Their parents were rather harsh in raising him, being stricter with rules and unforgiving of the smallest errors.

Leon grew to become high-strung and stringent. He has always felt the need to take control of a situation and could more often than not come off as bossy. He has the tendency to be arrogant and overbearing, and has a bit of a temper. His default emotion is being grumpy. :-)
