Unveiled Puppets || Prompt 1 & 2
Devouring persona concealed behind nameless faces of wooden entities
Azure hues fell upon crumbled piece of paper - tracing the carelessly squashed edges. Whiteness tainted by the inky patches of scribbled sentences. Glossed lips would ever-so-lightly curve into an astral smile - mysterious in its own spectral existence. Splendidly elegant fingers gently snatched the sheet, swift gestures straightening the marred surface.   Ten questions adorned it. Private, personal questions. Cranium tilted in inexpressible confusion, arching brows knitting. What was the meaning of this? Regardless of her own oblivion, the female's curiosity was sparked & kindled lightly in the confines of her infinite soul. She will play along. Was it boredom that forced her to answer them or the hushed whispers in her skull? It didn't matter.   Concealed behind her tent's security, Ella opened a small notebook - her diary. Chamber of forgotten memories and peculiar poems graced endless pages. She recognized her own neat handwriting - bent with each passing mood. How odd. Elated awe was reflected onto dainty countenance, amusement interwoven in deep sentiments. Concentration was once again attracted by the questions and without much thought she began writing.Â
Where do you live?
In a tent.Â
What is your gender?
That word always makes me giggle. Wonder why. I'm a female.
Did you have any childhood friends?
Plenty of them. They're still with me, even after all this time, they didn't abandon me.
Do you ever want to have a family of your own someday?
I already have one. My friends are my family.Â
Who do you trust, in general?
I trust those who trust me. Isn't that how it's supposed to be?Â
Describe a typical dream you might have
Again. That same dream. I try to forget it, but it inspires me. There's a girl, standing in the middle of one of the busiest streets, people pass by her - no one looks at her. Shadows begin emerging from beneath her feet, black projections threatening to coil around her, but something stops them - they never come near her. She's alone, standing in that pool of darkness...Â
Have you ever received any awards or honours?
Once, a person smiled at me whilst I was performing - he had a wonderful smile. For a moment, I thought he knew how I felt.
Do you have any pets?
I found a lost kitten when I was smaller, it died three days after.Â
What would you like to be remembered for after your death?
Remembrance is such a powerful word and action. The human mind is incapable of performing it. Even the faintest disturbance would perish it.
