vega was a prepared individual when it came to looking good. so the excuse of a holiday party had her pulling out all the stops. between the full face of make-up, the tight red skirt, the green button down, seamed stockings on legs complimented with green heels- she was like some sort of christmas themed se.xy secretary. she checked and then re-added another layer to her lips in the mirror before putting it all back into her purse. "is there anyone else here besides the managers yet?" she asked the other with a curious smile from the open bathroom. the tinsel and wreaths framed the man against the holiday backdrop that made him look oh so good.

vega sighed as she slid into the empty elevator and up against the back wall. for a second, she was tempted to pull her phone from her bag, but resisted it. instead, she just stared at the ground of said elevator, going over the day in her head. joining the family meant money and protection. but it also apparently meant that she was supposed to be set up with a spouse from the get go? what sort of backwards stuff was that? a roll of her eyes and then they flickered to the form of the other joining her in the space. "sorry. forgot to hit the button. pick your poison. i'll go anywhere now. last elevator ride as a free agent so to speak-" unbeknownst to her, she spoke to her future spouse.
