The Doctor had been planning to do something special for Clara for a while now. Plans that were not to easy to do when she had to cleverly sneak around. Couldn’t have Clara having any sort of ideas, after all.

The Doctor wanted it to be a complete surprise.

More importantly she wanted to see that smile on Clara’s face. She wanted so badly to hear the answer.

After a long day of decorating the tree, they could finally relax. But before she was going to do that she retrieved a box. Her present to Clara.

Of course she was going to wait until the next day, but she was simply too impatient. Needless to say, she wasn’t going to wait.
