☎ : List three or more people they would call out for during an emergency.

1. Joshua, Neuroverse & Reaperverse

☛ : What is their typical response to being given orders?

For Reaperverse, he’ll follow pretty much of any of Joshua’s orders because he does trust him to know what he’s doing.He’ll also follow the Conductor’s orders without much resistance because they’re Joshua’s right-hand person, but one opposing order from Joshua will change that in an instant.

And he’ll usually retort back with sass at the Game Masters and officers, but he won’t go against those orders either.  Unless he thinks the orders are stupid.

☢ : Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown. 

For either Neuro or Reaper!Neku, dreams about certain events of the Long Game will cause a breakdown (and for Reaper!Neku, it’s even worse).

It could be that time where he almost killed Shiki on Week One Day Two.

Or that time where Joshua ‘sacrificed’ himself for Neku on Week Two Day Seven.

Or the events of Week Three Day Seven, like when Beat took a hit for him from a possessed Shiki’s attack, or the three fights against Megumi.

And of course, let’s not forget the couple times a certain someone shot him.  Twice.

Yeah, there are many memories that come back to haunt Neku in his dreams, and they do trigger mental breakdowns.

✄ : Are there any reasons why they would ever think of self-harm? If so, what are they?

☠ : Are there any recent/daily thoughts they have about death or dying?

For a post-Game Neku, sometimes the thought of “I could die again at anytime” or “people I care for can die at any moment” sometimes pop up, and sometimes at the most annoying times.  Usually he’ll just squash these down as intrusive thoughts, but they still exist.

For Reaper!Neku, these thoughts were pretty much an hourly then daily thing during his first few years of being a Reaper.  Nowadays though, a random suicidal thought will flash up, but he’s learned to quickly relocate his attention to something else in order to not dwell on it.

☯ : Do they believe for every darkness there is a lightness? If not, why?

Reaper!Neku has a firm belief that there is a balance for darkness and light, but it’s more of an universal balance than an individual balance.  Some people have an equal amount in themselves, and for every person who has an inbalance of light and dark, there will be some person out in the world who will have the contrasting balance

♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.

Neku despises being flustered or getting embarrassed; he usually has an act on, mainly of indifference, because that’s an easy enough mask, so it’s hard for him to break the habit of putting it up.

But having friends who know his little buttons to push, that act is lost often enough when they’re tired of his ‘emo’ phase and they decide to get him flustered.

And Neku hates it so much. 

☆ : Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?

Neuroverse!Neku will wish upon a shooting star because it’s harmless enough, and most of the time, he just wishes for the next day to be pleasant.

۞: Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?

Reaper!Neku’s main inner demon are those lurking suicidal thoughts in the back of his mind that no Imprint can erase.  Even though it’s been nine years since the Long Game, replacing a lost entry that is as detrimental as one’s will to live is a long road to recovery.

He doesn’t really let anyone in on his thoughts though, and his work persona is what most Reapers see these days.  The only Reapers who are aware of Neku’s early days would be Kariya and Uzuki & the Def March band, since they’re the only ones who haven’t been Erased over the years (the Reaper turnover rate is rather high after all).

1. In the DBF verse, during those years where Neku believed that Joshua was truly dead, he would spend days upon days listening to playlists that were only of songs Joshua composed himself.  After a while, he would listen to the rest of his songs, but if he came across anything that strongly reminded him of that deceased best friend that he couldn’t quite remember, Neku would play those particular songs in order to feel close to him.

2. In Reaperverse, part of Joshua’s Imprint has Neku wanting to protect his Composer because if the Composer falls, so does the Imprint.  However, Neku’s own desires to protect Joshua have rose over the years.  Even though he’s not the official Conductor, Neku has taken on some of the secondary duties of the Conductor, such as being a bodyguard and sometimes Neku will try to take some of Joshua’s paperwork from him and do it himself.

3. In Reaperverse and pretty much all other Reaperverse subverses, Joshua is the only person who fully understands Neku.  The emptiness that he feels, the lack of will to live, only Joshua fully comprehends that because he’s messed around with Neku’s Soul in order to execute the Imprint.  He knows the ends and outs of Neku’s masks and personas and easily maneuvers through them with ease and plays along in public.
