      finally went and watched endgame friday night and now i’m home for today and tomorrow, so here’s the plan. my tony’s already canon divergent as it is, but in the case of endgame i’m having it that instead of you-know-what happening, he loses his left arm. dr. helen cho uses her refurbished invention to rebuild his skin, hair, etc on that side, but his arm can’t be saved. with assistance, he builds an extremely successful prosthetic. 

from there? the absolutely massive amount of arm jokes commence. his first?

    “well, guess I’m a skywalker now.”

he hears footsteps at the door and when he realizes he recognizes the tap-tap of stiletto heels, he elects not to take the ordinary, wire-rimmed glasses he’s wearing off their perch on his nose for once. his eyes are a little itchy, so contacts aren’t in, and he just doesn’t feel the need to wear the prescription sunglasses. he wouldn’t even be wearing the regular prescription glasses if he weren’t working on something that required better depth perception.
