Roman still couldn't fathom what had happened that evening, only that he'd practically rolled ass backwards out of the door when the woman had shoved him out before he'd barely managed to pull his shirt back on. The man would be lying if he said he hadn't had his nose put a little bit out of joint at that, especially given how far they'd gotten and how he'd still been pitching even after the snub. Perhaps that was part of the reason why when he spotted Jack, he found himself walking over despite knowing better.
"Oh? So you didn't come down with the worlds deadliest infection? I hate to say it but you really must have been put off by what was under my shirt then but that's a first for me. I've never been shoved out of someones bed before... be that before or after we've done the deed."
