I need some advice

for reference I just entered the young adult bracket and afab

During the pandemic I had been influenced by friends and identified as nonbinary and bisexual. Fast forward to now I realized I am not non-binary but I’m still hella confused about my sexuality.

I know I like men, and sometimes I think I could like girls and I do think about girls the same way I do men just less often. Idk I just am so confused on how to figure all this out , especially because I have no experience with either sex.

do you have any tips on figuring out ones sexuality?

I think a common misconception with sexuality is that if you identify as bi, you have to like boys and girls (or whatever two genders) equally. This is so false! You can be attracted to boys more than girls and still be bi! Bi just means you're attracted to more than one gender, but it never specifies how much.

I think the other thing is, some people are very sure about their sexuality from very young, while others need to take time to discover more about themselves before they're sure. That's okay! My best advice is to do some research on different sexualities and see if any jump out- but if they don't, don't panic. You have plenty of time t figure out who you are, and a label isn't a necessary thing at ANY point in your life.

Mistletoe Meetings ♡ (Closed)

The library was surprisingly festive now adorned with various holiday decorations to get library goers in the mood for the holiday season. Truthfully Fugo was the type to not really celebrate any holidays as it tended to be somewhat of a lonely time for him. The decorations in the library were only a painful reminder of that solitude... so perhaps today he would be quick about getting a new book and getting out of there as quickly as possible. 

Before he could make it to the front desk, he ended up seeing you by one of the shelves nearby. You have always been someone he’s enjoyed talking to... but he never really thought he’d have any sort of chance with you or anything. It seemed he was a loner by nature, so while seeing you was always nice he never had any expectations of anything beyond friendship. 

“Oh, hi! It’s nice to see you!” you call out to Fugo and waving in his direction.

“Hey. It’s nice to see you too.” Fugo waves back, and heads closer to your direction. He’s hoping he his excitement isn’t too obvious or anything. 

It seemed neither of you had realized the decoration that had been above the two of you - a mistletoe. 

It wasn’t until another staff member of the library had made a comment, “Oh a mistletoe! You know what that means!” they said with a laugh as they continued to walk by. 

Now you were both feeling a bit warm as you both now realized the mistletoe... Well, it’s not like you two had to kiss... Right?

Fugo wasn’t sure if you wanted to kiss him or not, but his head was filled with doubts. He never saw himself as the type of person who was ‘kissable’ or anything - certainly there was someone else you’d much rather kiss. 

As for you, your heart was now racing wondering if it was going to happen. Should you go for it? Will he go for it?

There was silence now between the two of you except for some awkward giggling before the two of you seemed to inch closer and closer.

Happy holidays, darling. Normally I don’t really enjoy the holidays as it used to be a lonely time for me, but now that I have you I don’t feel alone anymore. For once I actually felt excited about the holiday season. Thank you for your love and for your company. I’m so glad we started talking more... I know at first maybe I seemed a bit weird when we started talking at the library, but that’s just because I’m not really used to allowing anyone to get too close to me. I’m so glad I let you into my heart though because you’ve become someone so very special to me. 

This is still kind of weird for me to be able to talk about my feelings so openly like this... but I’m glad. It feels nice to be able to talk about what’s on my mind and in my heart to you. I hope we’ll get to celebrate many more holidays together. Thank you for making me happy... I hope that I make you happy too.

 I was the librarian’s assistant at the college library. (This is pre-VA) I would just be a 14 year old girl working there to get some community hours. I loved reading and I knew that community hours would look good on my college application for when I would be older. Thus, I now work at the college library.

 It all began one day when I was putting up some books that had been returned. It wasn’t that hard considering that I had to do was go by the number system and place then where they went. I had just finished my task- when someone came in. It was normal for people to come in all the time. Usually to get some sort of study material or just study in silence. 

 The person walked up to the counter to place a book that needed checking in. I walked to put his book back in the system when I saw his name show on my computer: Pannacotta Fugo. “You got a sweet name” I said to him. “Thanks” he said while staring at me. I mean I wasn’t wrong. He was literally named after a cream desert. He walked off after that looking around the library. He looks really young to be at a college I thought to myself.

 I looked at his name and realized that this is the kid that entered college at 13. He comes back a while later with a textbook on Law. Specifically the different types of courts. I checked them out for him and he asked, “Do you know where Divine Comedy is? I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find it.” I said “I’m not sure if we have that let me check.” I looked on the computer and searched. We did have a copy, but it was currently in the hands of another student. “Sorry, we do have it, but somebody already has it” I said. He only said thanks and left. And I just went back to doing my duties.
