    “Don’t use this time of year as a way to justify your actions. By that, I mean it’s ill-mannered to scare people out of the blue. Have some consideration.”

    “What’s the benefit of being so cynical all the time? I won’t tolerate excuses to cover it up-- I’m being serious. It’s not going to help you.. If anything, you’ll only be harming yourself in the long run.”

    “Well.. I’m glad you understand the point. There’s nothing to worry about so long as you’re comfortable with yourself. ‘Common’ or not, it shouldn’t matter.”

    “People use the words ‘boring’ and ‘normal’ like they’re insults. I see that, trust me. But I wonder.. Is that such a crime? You don’t know what’s going on in their minds, do you? What right do you have to judge whether or not someone is ‘average’ in your eyes?”

    “Um.. I don’t mean to sound intrusive, but are you okay? I mean, maybe I’m imagining things. It’s better to be safe than sorry.”

    “Hey, what’s with all the gloomy faces nowadays? Even if things don’t go your way, that doesn’t mean you have to carry on about it forever. Isn’t it best to learn from it and move on?”

    I’ll certainly try my best..! I do have plenty of experience under my belt. Now, all I ask for is a smile.. Or, at least, something along those lines.

    “Say.. I’m sure you’ve heard of the bandwagon effect before, right? You know.. For instance, when people do the ‘popular’ thing just because everyone else is doing it. In a way, wouldn’t you think that puts pressure onto others? Um, let’s see.. Well, if your entire class is at the beach and everyone else starts swimming, wouldn’t you also feel a need to join in? I’m not suggesting you have to, but.. That isn’t the point I’m trying to make.”
