They came down from the heavens by the dozen. By the THOUSANDS. A once crystal clear blue sky was now littered with large and small aircrafts, a dark mass that sped around like a hive of bees- covering up the SUN. There had been a single yell that brought everyone’s attention from their day-to-day lives, to raise their heads upwards. That single broken cry ignited PANIC into all of those that lived in Zootopia; it took only a couple heartbeats of dread before mammals created utter CHAOS. Blurs raced past the bunny, mammals tall and small holding close to loved ones, others staring up at the foreigners in breathless terror. The ships landed, none of the aliens having the time they needed to explain the predicament: to put it simply, Earth was going to be OBLITERATED. It was too late to save this planet that Judy called ’home’; the animals last hope being to take off into the stars. The unknown.

       The ones with the talent of charisma and general good authoritative speaking skills easily convinced the frightened mammals, the largest ships carrying most of the refugees. Judy watched with fearful eyes as citizens were whisked away by promises of safety. It was futile to chase after them, the aliens left just as quickly as they came, taking her fellow mammals with them- another ship landing in its place. A constant frantic cycle. It was all happening so quickly, and Judy felt helpless. Useless. And worse of all, they were leaving willingly!- why should she leave? Everything was fine until they came, the only rumor that buzzed around was that they were their saviors. Of what? No way was she leaving, the entire concept was insanity. She couldn’t believe it- she refused to. But little did the bunny know, a laser was aimed in the direction of Earth; its plan to destroy everything and everyone in its path. What seemed to be insanity was becoming a REALITY.

              Judy stumbled backwards as a smaller ship settled before of her, an unfamiliar figure hopping out from its pilot seat. Oh no, she was NOT about to be swept away- who knows what their real intentions were. Usually the most optimistic of the bunch, the horror of it all provoked the worst possibilities in her mind. Earth was being invaded, her citizens: kidnapped. As the figure grew closer, Judy was pulled away from her imagination-reminded that she could walk.. RUN.. But her legs felt like lead, lips still parted from being stunned by the strange spaceship. Her thoughts were muddled, the whole situation not giving much time to let it sink it: all of this had occurred under mere minutes.

              Just as Judy started to turn and make a break for it, she was yanked back by a gentle, yet firm grip on her arm. The bunny choked back a yelp, head twisting around to face the lombax. Not leaving him much to give an explanation, Judy already squirmed underneath his grasp, eyes burning into him with intense distress. This was a nightmare. She had to find her family, her friends, Nick- but they could’ve been anywhere. With a groan, Judy’s face scrunched up in strain- her feet trying to push off from the ground and AWAY from the stranger, but he didn't budge.
