Fitting &&Hathor
a reunion with @mphathor
It was with just a hint of girlish glee that Sekhmet entered the town car outside her apartment in the direction of The Silk Peach. Not so much for the shopping that was sure to follow, but for the presence whom Sekhmet hoped would be there to assist her.
There was something about Hathor that managed to soften Sekhmet’s edge just the slightest bit. Probably the fact that Hathor was her literal other half. Sekhmet had not met a soul yet that could make her feel the was Hathor does. She didn’t let any of this show as the driver took her to the shop, not when she gout out of the car, not when she strode into the shop itself. Inside there was a familiar energy. Sekhmet broke into a small smile when she saw Hathor there behind the counter.
“Oh, Hath, it’s been too long. We must catch up. But while we do that, would you be a doll and take my measurements for a fitting? I need new battle armor.” The goddess smirked at her own little joke as she reached for the little bow that held her wrap dress tied to her body. Just one little pull and the dress came loose, and Sekhmet slid it off her shoulders in one fluid movement so the dress pooled at her feet, revealing that not a scrap of clothing had been beneath it.
The smile remained while Sekhmet raised her arms, ready for the fitting.
