Das DOS-Format von Windows hat am ende einer Zeile immer ein sogenanntes inverse M. Dieses sieht unter Linux dann aus wie ein ^M und macht kein Return. Zum ändern dafür gibt es 3 Möglichkeiten.
Die einfachste Möglichkeit ist das Paket dos2unix. [bash]sudo apt-get install dos2unix dos2unix meinedatei.txt[/bash]

임베디으 리눅스에서 돌아가는 프로그램 설정을위해 ini 파일을 만들었다. 한데, 이놈의 ^M 때문에 영 눈에 거슬린다. 부족한 busybox 의 vi 에서는 없애질 못하고, tr 을 사용하는 방법이 제일 깔끔한것 같다 tr -d '\15' < psc.ini > psc.ini

Have been wrestling with git alot at work. Windows self adding whites spaces is a pain in the ass. Form some reason my windows machine loves to add ^M ass EOL and Linux doesn’t like it at all. Found this pretty sweet command though. $ %s(crtl-v)(crtl-m)//g filename.ext that get rid of all those ^M. Any one know how to get rid of these EOL forever?
