O HALLOWEEN sempre foi muito divertido para mim, e minhas irmãs, sabe. Enfeitávamos a casa com SANGUE falso, ÁBOBORAS, DOCES, MORCEGOS NA PAREDE... E essas coisas. Também tínhamos nossos próprio FANTAMAS de estimação, eles nunca pagaram uma conta de luz, você acredita? Enfim, era legal pedir DOCES ou TRAVESSURAS com as minhas irmãs quando elas eram pequenas. Depois elas viraram amargas e travessas, e é claro que a culpa é do Zorak aqui, não do pai ausente. - apontou para si mesmo, debochando do fato. - Deixando a história problemática da minha família de lado, eu já vi alguns MONSTROS por aqui e ali... Como um VAMPIRO com aquelas PRESAS, um LOBISOMEM e suas GARRAS muito bem afiadas e bem cuidadas, será que ele vai para uma MONSTRA pedicure? Me perdi... SIM! Uma MÚMIA, essa aqui eu não quero falar não. Aliás, você já conheceu o FRANKENSTEIN? Um homem-monstro finíssimo e educado. E o JACK... Ah sim! Foi mal, o que você tinha falado mesmo? - perguntou, extremamente não sóbrio mas ainda estava de pé e longe de passar mal.

Wandering the north western part of BC without the snow and cold had certainly changed matters to the better, and a certain Rag Doll enjoyed the weather during the afternoon. She no longer needed to wear thick jackets and scarfs. Her favorite red woolen and acrylic sweater was good enough in the cold wind, and with the gentle sun outside, it was all in all a nice day. Despite this, the ghetto streets were almost empty. The occasional people looking for either stuff in the trash, or coins in the drains passed the strange girl with scrutinizing looks, but as Charlotte stepped up a staircase to get a better view of the place, she got a smile from a mother who was busy hanging up her laundry. It didn’t look very clean even though Charlotte believed the woman had done her best. Her children were probably at school. A thing the Rag Doll could no longer care about. She didn’t know what she wanted to be either. Good riddance.

Charlotte passed a few poor children playing when following the rail across the shared apartments’ balcony, and looking down at a market showing up behind the tall buildings, she saw a blonde man handing out clothes while others handed out toys and food. Those who lived there seemed happy and eager about the newly arrived resources. Maybe Charlotte could spot a few other Rag Dolls too. Or William. 

Halting by the stairs which lead down to the market place, she got passed by the kids again, who run down to the crowded market. Maybe they were homeless...like her? Were they Toy Soldiers, or Lost Boys? Or just ghetto children...Either way, walking the streets for Charlotte felt easier now than before. Before she’d just run away with a brave heart beating for answers and justice. Now...Now it beat for survival. Her scar from where her chip had been cut out had healed completely, and she’d almost forgotten about her past life. If it was by choice or not, she wasn’t sure, but it was for the best. William was her last chance of a family if not the war came to an end. Charlotte doubted her father would get accustomed to peace. Would anyone? Maybe Peter. Her mother would be thrilled to just have her children with her, but Charlotte, and William apparently, needed more. They were the ones who couldn’t live with the injustice. He’d been brave when leaving eleven years ago, she thought. And she wanted to show him she could too. She could help too. 

 Enker rubbed his eyes before running his hands through his hair, brushing it back. The blue bangs fell on his face again, and Enker sighed and blew the locks away out of his face, deciding that now was the time for a change of scenery. He stood up, grabbing his helmet and donning his armor, attaching his mirror buster to it's magnetic holster and made his way to the door when he stopped and looked back at the window. Did he really want to take a walk on the island...? After a moment of deliberation, he decided that strolling around the island wasn't enough of a change for his tastes. In a few moments his helmet was discarded onto his bed sheets and his perfectly polished armor was placed on it's rack, an old but still clean suit taking it's place. A tie was fixed around his neck as the robot carefully examined himself in the mirror, a smile gracing his lips as he found what he saw to his liking. His armor was fierce and graceful, but sometimes one could do better with a little class.

 He made his way to the teleporters without incident, though he worried the heat of the fortress might be a little too much for his fragile wear; Monsteropolis would be far cooler, and he knew exactly where he wanted to spend the day. A quick ride through the air as a beam of light left him in an alley that exited out into a thoroughfare beside the largest public park in Monsteropolis. His smile returned as he stretched his arms out, feeling good to be back in the warm sunlight and not under an artificial lamp. The artificial man began to walk towards the street when something caught his eye and he stopped. Stooping low, he found that he had nearly stepped on a flower trying it's best to live between a crack in the pavement. He saved a snapshot to his memory and continued on his way, mindful of his way.
