These two one shots that Joni wrote for the @cssns a few years back go hand-in-hand, so I couldn't very well include one and not the other! I loved how it was almost like she gave us a different take on Season 1 at the start, where it felt like Emma was in the real world and didn't know about Storybrooke, herself, or any of her family and friends. Then, when you realize that she's been sent there and her memory wiped of her loved ones, it hits with that much more power. I really enjoy how @jrob64 works various Storybrooke characters into the real world as they try to find a way to reach Emma and help her remember. And I love how the storybook pulls at her - particularly she and Killian's tale and the picture of them dancing. (Not to mention his picture -- who could blame her for that!?! ;p)

The second part is from Killian's p.o.v. during the same events. Both are not to be missed - @jrob64 did an excellent job1 And there's gorgeous fic art sprinkled throughout by the inimitable @svenjaliv
