I had a really great friday night. I wanted to get dressed up and go out for drinks with my friend - so that's what we did. We couldn't find other people who wanted to go out with us so we decided that we would just make friends when we got there - and so we did!
We got to the bar early in hopse of getting a table for the night - but it was completely full. We walked around the place a couple of times until 2 guys at the end of a big table called us over to join theirs. So we slipped onto the end of that, ordered some beer and food and then settled in.
It was a little bit awkward at first because there was 3 groups at 1 table who had nothing to do with each other - but once we finally broke the ice and realized that no one knows anyone the atmosphere lightened up considerably! My goal was to get pleasantly intoxicated and just have fun - and I would say that I was successful! Em and I played drinking games with each other and then slowly the rest of the table. I met an adorable Brazilian girl and a bunch of others and yes!
The bar was 1 block away from my house - so I don't think it could have been a better arrangement haha and I was home by 12:30am!
Then I got home and had one of the most amazing/embarrassing phone calls of my life with my Bestest Friend C haha. She recently got herself a boyfriend and they were having a cuddle fest, so I decided in that moment I had to call and talk to them both.
Oh dear. Apparently it was the funniest conversation she has ever had with me and I made a good impression on the new boy. Also I distinctly remember threatening certain death if he were to ever hurt her. At least I was honest :D
So if you want a friend who will call you at ungodly hours while you are cuddling with your boy while increadibly drunk and talk about how I love you better - I'm your girl! Hahaaa
