Playing Hookie || CL & Victoria
Finally, there was a break between all the customers that wandered into her tent. More than the half the night had been spent reading person after countless person, overall making Victoria very irritable. Of course the last people to wander in where a large group of teenage girls, all clamoring about their boyfriends and how they will bring them the next night to see if they really were cheating on them with the school whore. Somehow all seven managed to cram themselves into her tent, whining and loudly protesting when Victoria said that at most she could only have two people in there at a time. After a rather long fuss, she was able to separate the clingy group, barely stopping herself from giving them attitude. She knew she was not allowed to be rude to customers, no matter how much she wanted to be, so she kept a tight check on her tongue, somehow surviving the teenage girls that way.
Needless to say, the blonde was more than grateful for a break, and there was no way she was spending it inside the tent where she could be cornered into reading minds again. So with the weak excuse of going to use the restroom, Victoria took to wandering the circus grounds, removing her purple gauzy veil so at least she just looked like an oddly dressed woman. Winding her way around large clusters of people and sideshows, she looked for something, anything, entertaining to do. Yes, it was probably wrong for her to be searching for entertainment while she was supposed to be working, but that had no effect on her conscience in the slightest. In her opinion, she deserved this break simply from not snapping at those girls.
After a while, she found an interesting tent, one she had failed to spot before. Though of course that is not saying much due to how little she even explored her home or cared to meet those she shared it with. Seeing no one else waiting outside the tent, Victoria decided she might as well spend her time here and see what it was about before going back to her job. At the moment, anything was better than the possibility of another group of girls visiting her.
Pushing the flap open, Victoria walked inside, briefly scanning the interior before her gaze fell on the woman. She looked mildly familiar, but the blonde could not gather her name or what it was that she did exactly, and wasn't too concerned to ask. "..Alright. Do whatever it is you do here," she grumbled, still in a rather sour mood. No, it wasn't the nicest greeting, but she didn't concern herself with it to much. If this woman thought she was rude, well, then it would just be another person to add to the seemingly ever-growing list.
