Wishes and Choices
It is so much easier to wish for the ability to change lives than to actually do it. When you are wishing, it is because you don't actually possess the ability to make an impact.
You want to change a life, but you don't know how.
Then an opportunity is presented. And fear strikes.
What if you lead someone the wrong way? What if you make the situation worse? What if you say the wrong thing? Do the wrong thing?
You are faced with a choice. You can let the chance slide, hope someone else will answer the questions, and go on your way. You can continue with your normal life.
Or you can jump out there. You can trust God to lead you as you try to lead. You can risk saying the wrong thing in the hope that you will say the right thing. You can help someone besides yourself.Â
Life is made of choices. Not wishes. Make the right ones.
"I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Choose life, so that you may live." - Deu 30:19
