Bio

Born in 1992, from Beijing, China. He got his Bachelor of Arts degree in China Conservatory of Music, major in Arts Management (Musicology). He is currently studying in New York University as a grad student major in Music Technology. He is an indie musician, composer, producer, and performer. Meanwhile, he has worked with many musicians including two Chinese artists: Mochou Wu (吴莫愁）and Jane Zhang（张靓颖).

Easy Mind is a pseudonym that Xianda Wang named himself, and it’s also his ethos, he thinks that Easy Mind is an attitude for life, “Live easily and freely.” Which is also the message he wants to share with people through his music. “Easy Mind, Light Heart.”

He started writing songs and music at the age of 13, So far, he has written about 200 songs/music works, including two Folk/Pop albums with songs written in Chinese and four Electronic music albums in English. He has been performing his music including songs and electronic music in schools and public places in Beijing for several years. He is interested in different genres of contemporary popular music and electronic music, and he composed with various styles, from piano music to large integrated music with strings and electronic elements to pop songs.

During the time studied in China Conservatory of Music, he formed a band in 2011 also named Easy Mind , he was the lead singer and guitarist. His band has performed with original music in schools and Live Houses. His band joined the "Sound of the Xity" music festival in April 2013. Meanwhile he was recognized and recommended by several music website's editors including Xiami. (虾米音乐）In 2014, his 14 songs’ lyrics were published in the book called “Campus Songs Lyrics Collection”.

Hsing Jiangbo,aka iimmune, born in Tianshui, Gansu Province in 1989, currently living in Beijing , Electronic music producer and guitarist of Rock band Glow Curve and some emerging bands such as ONG, Raying Psychedelic Coalition. He is also works in the film soundtracks and modern drama scene as the composer and sound designer.

From  2015  to  2016,  his  debut  Album”Ocean”and  EP  “Abnormal”  was  released  by D-FORCE Records. his works been presents by many important live house and festival such as Beijing Electronic Music Encounter 2013-2015.

From  2016,  iimmune  collaborate  with  Beijing  Based  producers  VU,PUNX,and  FAR INFINITY, working together on the new electronic music label PRAJNASONIC as one of co-founders.

Shao Yanpeng aka Shao, previously known under the moniker Dead J, is one of China’s leading electronic artists.

Shao began making electronic music in 2002. his music explores the relationship between sound and space. Tensions are interweaved with restrained emotions, and a sense of space running through the movement, can be felt - calm, solid, yet highly impressive.

His live audio visual set have been invited to perform in festivals across China mainland as well as at international festivals in Macau, India, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Norway and Netherlands.

His first album Mental Imagery was released in 2005 under China’s largest independent music label ModernSky, followed by two more albums Mental Magic (2006) and Psychedelic Elephant (2008). Shao was named “Best Electronic Artist” at the 2007 China Music Media Awards for his album Mental Magic. In 2011, Shao released his fourth album 'Tíng,Tái,Lóu,Gé' .

In 2015, he signed legendary techno label Tresor records, joins Tresor ranks as China's first artist, and released new EP Doppler Shift Pt.1.

In addition to his personal projects, Shao is also a highly sought after composer and sound designer. He was invited in 2011 by the Goethe Institute to re-compose the soundtrack for the classic German silent film Metropolis. Shao has an ongoing cooperation with Meng Jinghui, one of Asia’s most influential avant-garde theatre directors and created several unique compositions for some of Meng's most popular plays such as 'Rhinoceros in Love' , 'Soft'，'To Live' etc. These works have been performed all over the world more than 3,000 times. The play 'To Live' was performed in the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and Thalia Theater in Hamburg. In 2010, Shao was appointed as the sole sound designer for the 2010 World Expo’s “Pavilion of the Future.” Shao collaborated with the Chinese animation artist Bu Hua, to create a soundtrack for the film Visions of the Future, also featured at the “Pavilion of the Future.”

BIO:

Jason Hou is a music producer from Beijing. He started making music as a keyboardist in various progressive metal bands and went to study music production in Canada. After graduation, he has involved in projects across a wide range of genres, from classical, pop, rock to ethnic music. Jason was later drawn to electronic music, and discovered that it is the musical form that is truly comprehensive and innovative, and decided to start a new chapter on his musical journey.

Jason returned to China in 2014 and started focusing on making electronic music that incorporates Chinese musical and sonic elements. He became friends with local producers Howie Lee, Guzz, Dokedo and ZHI16 at the BeatMakers events. In mid 2015, Jason joined the Producer/DJ crew and label Do Hits and has already performed in Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Chongqing with artists like Jubei, SP:MC, Plastician, Homemade Weapons and Soulection. He has published tracks in all 4 Do Hits compilations.

Jason also works with music tech companies. He has produced a viral video performing the AlphaSphere, a MIDI controller made by British company Nu Desine. Jason is a co-founder of 2nd Sense Audio, a Beijing based company that’s developing a software synthesizer that will be released in April 2016.
