Vi x Essie // The Skating Tree
Christmas in Soapberry was different than any place she’d been to before. The other places had always been filled with the ‘holiday magic’ that so many attributed to the feelings the warm hot coca, the burning logs in the fireplace, and the well decorated tree all lit up made one feel. But in soapberry, there was actual holiday magic.Â
Vi held onto the railing as she ascended the stairway within the skating tree. Finally reaching the top she looked around, taking in the magical rink and searching for her friend. Vi walked over to a counter, reading the skate rental pricing board as she waited for Essie.
