I have idea that is really specific: DMC 4 Dante with his newborn (like just born) with his wife (reader) headcannons.
Awwww more fuzzies! Thanks for this, it's so fun to write this fluffy stuff. 💜
DMC4! Dante x Fem!Reader Fatherhood headcannons
-The minute the doctors gave Dante the baby to hold, he was in love. In his arms lay his very own child--his flesh and blood. This right here was the future; another heir to the Sparda legacy. This cute little blob of warm flesh was his baby. And he loved them so much.
-Holds his baby close to his chest and kisses their sweet head, mumbling about how much he loved them and how they were gonna grow up protected and strong and how they'll become badass devil hunters just like Dada.
-Can't stop taking pictures of you and the baby--this day is so precious, he can't let a single moment be forgotten.
-Even when you guys are asleep, he continues to take pictures.
-The very next day he goes out and buys like 300 different Teddy bears for the baby and fills their crib with it so when you finally take your kid home, instead of a crib, they sleep in a nest.
-Films every moment of every waking day until both his phone and his camera run out of memory.
-Always wants to cradle the baby and kisses their head all the time. The only time he ever lets go is when it's feeding or diaper changing time.
-Learns how to knit SOLELY for the purpose of crafting cute little baby clothes for his darling kid.
-You now have 10,000 tiny baby jumpers strewn about your living room and the kid's bedroom, each with different colors, patterns, and decorations.
-Puts on Baby Einstein even though the kid hasn't even opened their eyes yet, and makes the baby dance by waving their little arms around.
-Talks gibberish to the baby, all the time, knowing that they can't understand him, but doesn't seem to care.
-When it comes to responsibility, Dante is nowhere to be found. He only wants to play with the baby and occasionally bottle feeds them (cause then he has an excuse to talk more gibberish to the infant) but otherwise doesn't want to do much. He's lazy, and has no intention of facing the monstrosities that are baby poops.
-Loves ya even more for being able to shoulder most of the work that comes with taking care of a newborn--and don't worry, once the kid is potty trained, Dante will pitch in some more.
