Deirdre: he’s just so goopily, sickeningly in love with her it’s ridiculous :/ It started as infatuation and their romance is infamously whirlwind-fast but I believe he did come to genuinely care about her as a person and want to stand by her no matter what. -

Eldigan: Sigurd loves Eldie deeply no matter if others would classify that love as platonic or romantic, though regardless of what they may have gotten up to in the Academy I don’t know if either he or Eldigan would have realized it might be romantic. As majorblooded noble heirs, they would be expected to marry and have children, so they wouldn’t have been able to pursue a romantic relationship anyway. It might have been better that Sigurd never realized any potential romantic feelings because he’d be inconsolable about not getting to marry someone he loved lmao. -

Quan: While I see Siggy and Eldie as the ones more likely to be going “uwu uwu uwu” at each other just bc of their personalities I do think Sigurd and Quan share a very strong bond as well. I wouldn’t ship them while Quan is married to Ethlyn since they’re brothers-in-law and I think that Quan would be the most likely to like...be aware of potential GAY in interactions since he’s more politically-minded than Sigurd in this comphet world but :/ I can see borderline gay things happening in Academy with Eldie maybe. Practising kissing with your bros is just a bro thing to do right??? -

Chulainn: I still not-really-crackship it because of how blown away Chulainn sounds when you beat him in arena and I happened to beat him with Sigurd lmao. Chulainn swoons for people who can kick his ass and people brimming with hope and ideals and Sigurd sure is that! -
