Roxana. // decoriis
❝ What did he do now…?! ❞ It was only when the lioness bore any mark of her brother’s did Roxana feel the full weight of her house words. Though fury was to fuel her in that moment, her hands are tender as they frame Cersei’s face betwixt them. Oh, there would be cross words sent her brother’s way. Robert should be worried. Her thumb barely skirts across the fresh bruise on the apple of her cheek, examining the deep purple under the light of the torches.
Her hands fall away as she intertwines her arm with the Queen’s, ushering her down the path of gravel lining the outside of the gardens. She speaks in a hushed tone, ❝ You are my favorite person. You inspire me to have the courage to speak up and do things I otherwise would shy away from, and I cannot stand to see you treated this way when there is something more I can do about it! What happens when he starts taking it out on the children? Cersei, I would lose my mind to rage. ❞
The doe sighs, ❝ I will speak to him. I will do what it takes. ❞

She looks for the familiar face in the pale moonlight and unfamiliar traces of ANGER are all she meets. She looks like Robert, when he was younger and the mead had not yet taken his form. She didn’t have his temper, she was quite the opposite with her gentle features  & the soft spoken words of wisdom.  Fingers touch upon the fresh bruise,  a mark he left behind in a recent burst of anger. She wouldn’t let Roxana see the pain she felt, for she feared it would BREAK her.
❝ As you are mine, I couldn’t possibly let you face him alone.       We’ll wait and we’ll withstand as we always have, my dearest.       He’ll never lay a hand on the children,  I won’t allow it and it’ll       be with my bare hands that I’ll strangle him does he ever even       entertain the thought. ❞
She lets her arm link with the other woman’s as she is escorted further   from the keep. She doesn’t mind, not really, he would never notice her   gone. Only when bruises would heal, would he see her as a Q U E E N   again.
