I saw Ajue like the post about Yang, Liane Adrastia dressups. I saw that Ajue. I see you.
Also how would Nikkal and Mithras react when they notice Ren and Liane spending their nights in the other’s room in an au where they visit Liane’s home?
-----
Mithras would be furious. Nikkal would be amused, I think.
Which is funny. Ajue and I are still working on Nikkal’s characterization, but so far it seems that she was the responsible parent vs Mithras being the fun parent (in no small part to Mithras often being gone on huntsman missions and the like, so he made up for it when he was around).
But Mithras is so fucking overprotective and just such a traditional “gets the shotgun when a boy comes over” dad that I think in that particular situation the roles would be reversed.
So yeah I think Nikkal would laugh her ass off. ESPECIALLY knowing what her daughter is about.
Mithras Bahram
Name: Mithras Bahram
Gender: Male
Place of Birth: Vacuo
Age: 40
Academy: Shade
Semblance: Fire Manipulation
Weapon: A dagger and a javelin
Body Type: Large and muscular
Hair Color: Dark red
Eye Color: Green
Inspiration: Mithras
Face Claim:
Biography:
Mithras Bahram is quite the accomplished man. Born in squalor in the slums of modern Vacuo, his parents toiled away tirelessly in the dust mines. This resulted in the young Mithras largely being left to his own devices and raising himself. As a poverty stricken lad with nothing better to do, he took to the streets where he soon became known as an accomplished brawler. Life was hard in Vacuo, and strength greatly respected. Mithras was quickly proving he was the strongest of the schoolyard boys who dared cross him.
He never attended a combat school prior to attending Shade Academy, for he had learned all he had needed from living on the streets. By that point his parents were long dead, lost in a mining accident. Not that he cared, for they had never been around in the first place. They had been as good as strangers to the young Mithras. But their deaths had served a purpose, and the compensation from the fallout was what allowed him to pay for his education. Their deaths paved the way for his career as a huntsman.
And what a career it was. Mithras quickly made a name for himself; he and his flames always burning away anyone who stood in his way. He became beloved for the frequency in which he would chase Grimm away from the outlying villages, and infamous for his combat prowess.
But Mithras had a goal. To ascend to the Vacuan nobility, those most noble and powerful gladiators, above all other men. What a story that would be, starting from the bottom and rising to the top. For Vacuo respected strength, after all.
And he would have been well on his way too, if not for his unruly daughter.
Personality:
Mithras is a hardened man, focused to the point of callousness. He is someone wholly focused on securing his legacy, and ensuring his family’s dominance. It’s important for him, who grew up so alone and poor. His ambition has led him far in life, but it was also the cause for the rift with his only child.
Brash and fiery, Mithras relishes the thrill of a good fight. The importance of combat and strength was instilled into him at a young age, and he followed the path of the warrior ever since he was a child. In a fight, he is uncompromising and unforgiving. There are no second chances with him, both on the battlefield and in life.
Mithras Bahram
Single-handedly raised his family from squalor, Mithras is an extremely competent fighter. Which goes for a lot in the sandy wastes of Vacuo where strength is everything. A man focused completely on ensuring his family’s dominance for generations to come.
He’s Liane’s father.
Mithras taught her everything he knows, never settling for a weak child. A shame then, that he had to disown her after she so spectacularly botched the marriage alliance he had been crafting for years, as she murdered her betrothed.
Brb but I’m picturing Ren and Mithras having a very serious brofist in solidarity over having kids with curvaceous dark skinned redhead women. A moment of understanding.
-----
You’re not the first to suggest Mithras and Ren interacting.
Personally? I think Mithras would hate Ren’s guts lol. Would snap the rich pretty boy in half.
Nikkal would be fairly partial to Ren, I think. Y’know, because Ren is fairly charming and pays well (Nikkal runs a tavern in Vacuo). And, you know, he helped take care of her little girl after she ran away from home.

Is Liane's mom single đź‘€
"No."
So, Liane is inspired by Ishtar, right? Or at the very least, has been for a good year and a half now. I initially had her as a sort of Helios/Apollo analogue, but that wound up not working out much.
ANYWAY POINT BEING
One of Ishtar’s origin myths is that she was born when one god castrated another god and ate the testicles, then becoming m!preg with that god’s kid in the process.
An origin myth that neatly lines up with Aphrodite’s own origin myth of being born from the foam produced by Ouranos’ castrated balls falling into the sea. Aphrodite evolved from Ishtar, you see.
Now what does all of this mean?
It means I’m cutting Liane’s dad’s balls off right after she’s born. Literally. And probably metaphorically.
Good luck, Mithras. Snip snip.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Send a 🙌 and I’ll introduce you to an NPC related to my Muse.
Wei-Feng Yonghai - The last emperor of Mistral. Largely responsible for the Great War and was deposed at the end of it, the monarchy abolished. A stubborn old man that thought he was smarter than he really was. He is the ancestor of Mingzhu.
Jinn - The genie of the Lamp, a servant of the God of Light. Once upon a time, before the Lamp, she was a slave girl named Amateru. She broke her chains and went on to become a hero of legend, fighting against the invading witch and the warlock of the west, and helped to found the city of Mistral. Over time, she began to be worshiped as the Mistrali Sun Goddess... Which is fitting, as a reincarnation of Ra.
Mithras Bahram - The father of Liane. An orphan boy that fended for himself on the mean streets of Vacuo. Brought himself up from nothing and became one of the best huntsmen that the desert city had to offer. Always wanted the best for his daughter, but they had conflicting views on how to go about that. He was going to marry her off so she could live a comfortable life, but she ran away instead.
