“ Well — look what the cat dragged in,” malicious only in a playful way. so wound up in her own drama that she hadn’t exactly seen much of the squad. Kinda D I S A P P O I N T I N G in the long run. “ aye stranger. so who’d I gotta fight; heard about the shit ya’ had to deal with..” she rose a simple and curious brow. Though she was ultimately fine with just having a little fun; it was easy enough to ASSUME that no one (self-included) wanted to talk about their issues. So she wasn’t pushy. ” alternatively, I ain’t gonna complain if yer’ ain’t up to much but smokin’ and drinking the bottle of tequila I stole from one of the teacher’s desks. ”

pet store ft. @mayaxtanaka
Violet and Maya entered the next section of the store illuminated by fishtanks that lined the wall. "Should I get a fish?" she asked as they settle in front of some goldfish. "I feel like they're more low maintenance." She knew she couldn't handle a puppy while trying to settle into her place and this town.
A certain P E R K that came with Vampirism and the added bonus of trying to cling onto everything normal: It was easy to pretend, to still imagine herself bound in every trait that she had before without worrying about ANYTHING...like she could see the old version of who she was as someone burden-free (no matter how far from the truth that seemed) but there was a positive. Something out of character that a burdened version of herself wouldn’t do: approach a person she’d met once just because she’d almost become the victim of a football game. GRANTED maybe it came from a selfish place; accepting what she was and knowing how other people saw her after everything she’d done left her in a worse position, it wasn’t just painful. It was heightened pain..G U I L T and if she could have a brief moment away from that, taking the opportunity only seemed like all too viable an option. “You can TOTALLY call me rude..” she offered a small smile, hands up in the air in surrender for a brief moment or at least long enough before it seemed easier for them to settle at her sides. “..but you looked a little lonely and I’m taking the one time you almost hit me with a football as a good enough reason to act on extending my services; I’m not all that terrible at sitting back and listening,” she gave a small shrug. “ if that’s what you need.”

Though she didn’t go out that much, Aya hadn’t really learned how to say no to an offer from Maya and she found herself at the bar that night. With her husband away on another business trip, it was only right that she worked on expanding her own social circle, right? Then again... maybe this wasn’t exactly what she should have been doing. It was n o real surprise that Aya had shown up earlier than they’d agree to meet and she just focused on ordering herself a drink while trying to ignore the man who had come up to talk to her in the process. As always, she was polite and nice, if unsure why he was talking to her in the first place... at least until she tried to go and found him reaching for her hand. Unpleasant associations flooded through her and Aya found herself yanking the hand back with surprising force considering she rarely ever showed any. “... s-sorry, but I... someone’s waiting for me.” Taking the drinks, she turned around, thankfully able to spot Maya and moving over to the booth. After noticing that she was still being followed by him, Aya found herself sliding into the seat next to the other girl instead of across from her, lightly grabbing on to her arm. “I... I said I’m sorry. I’m not... I’ve already got someone so please... please leave us alone?” Though she was trying to be forceful, the wavering in her voice wasn’t helping her at all.

“If the world goes after you, take it as a compliment.”
“Okay but come on, how can I possibly take being put on the LA’s worst dressed men of twenty sixteen list as a compliment? I hired a stylist and everything, I knew she had no idea what she was talking about” he grumbled, ringing his phone closer to his face as he scrolled further down the article. “I get what you’re saying though... no publicity is bad publicity”
3 people you dislike most in Town?
“Only three? We can start with Levi, because I still feel a bit like killing him after the other night. Evan is a pretty huge douchebag so he’s high on this list. An then there was the self-righteous tattoo girl. Those are the first three that come to mind.”
