i WOULD like to think it was howard taking it from zola. hence the need to kill him. i really don't like the idea that howard was the one creating these serums/had anything to do with their manufacture. besides that clip of the car crash was shown in conjunction to people who were getting in the way of the 'parasite'. so it does make sense that howard was taking these away from zola? but it's confusing because do we assume zola (german) was working with karpov (russia)?
//ever since TWS I’ve wondered: after bucky getting captured back in wwii and experimented on by zola in italy, and zola getting captured by cap/us agents and soldiers, how did zola become part of the process when winter soldier (captured by russians) became a thing? russians...who were technically allies with the us in wwii (or at least post-1941)?? so I guess we assume zola was working with the russians, at least for part of the making-of of the post-bucky serum’s process? i believe zola became a giant computer in the 70s tho? (wow i can’t believe I can’t recall every lil detail of tws considering how many times I’ve seen it now) so in 1991, howard wouldn’t really be ‘stealing’ from zola himself?
