Muse name: Engel āIlsaā Yeoh Species: Skydancer Brief description: One of the shyest of his kind, Engel does not often dance in the sun like his fellow skydancers. Because of this it has led to his poor health and almost jumpy nature. Though still as elegant and graceful as his kind is naturally, Engel will oft be found with his wings tucked around himself, obscuring his obsidian body and rose filigree behind wings of vermilion.
When Engel does dance himself though - his dances are absolutely breathtaking. His graceful movements are accompanied by constant streams of flower petals that seem attracted to him and mimic his movements as he swoops and soars.
Depending on the colour of the flower petals, one can always tell if it is Engel or Ilsa that is dancing.
Due to collapsing from lack of sunlight one too many times, Engelās innate need to survive created Ilsa. When she dances, the petals are a soft pastel pink, almost an exact match to the filigree that decorates the dragonās body. Velvety blood red petals are Engelās signature.
While it is true that they can put on a beautiful display in the sunlight, it is perhaps Engelās preference for the night that has impacted his deteriorating health so much. Due to his darker colouring, it is the moonlight that Engel loves to dance in. Before heād left his parentsā den after his younger sister had been killed by hunters, he had often danced in the moonlight for her as she had loved the way the softer moonbeams had played off his colouring.
Power(s): Perhaps due to his nature, even Engelās abilities are non-confrontational. He specializes in healing, aided by the plants that he seems to be able to grow in the blink of an eye. Plants and flowers, the botanical, will come to Engelās aid as he needs them. It is mostly an innate ability that he has little control over, though if he asks nicely it usually works out for him.
A small cosmetic ability he has is the creation of flower petals when heās dancing.
