okay yeah so i watched the second narnia movie and wow everything goes back to twst—
specifically this quote from the movie (from a werewolf antagonist trying to entice prince caspian into resurrecting the witch from the first movie):
“I am hunger. I am thirst. I can fast a hundred years and not die. I can lie a hundred nights on the ice and not freeze. I can drink a river of blood and not burst. Show me your enemies.”
i was like. wait. that’s. that’s leona’s UM incantation. is it. or is it just a common saying i haven’t heard of before.
so i looked up “im hunger im thirst” and the first results all leads back to the original author and narnia being quoted—
i also double-checked JP translations (credit to @.yuurei20!!) and EN localization and it’s similar wording!!
JP: I am hunger. I am thirst. That which takes away your future. Kneel down. EN: I am the one who hungers, I am the one who thirsts. I am the one to rob you of your future. Kneel before me.
but anyways uhhh all this to say narnia reference in twst perhaps.
