   “Just had to be today of all day, huh?” An exasperated sigh leaves the phoenix, pulling out a loose cigarette from her pocket and magically lighting it with a snap of her fingers. The clouds had came rolling in, and the rain poured nonstop. Taking shelter under an old abandoned bus stop, it offered little comfort. And so, she sat there, hunched over, starring off into the grey. Without even glancing over at the other person in the same situation, she spoke out loud. “You stuck here cause of the rain too?”

“Wanna take a walk to the river, Zech? We could catch some fish for dinner.” 

“I told you!” Her voice now raised as her hands balled up into fists, practically combusting on sheer emotion...oh wait. “You just happen to be in the corner of my eye! It was late!” Mokou vehemently responds, a little miffed that he still wouldn’t drop that incident. “I am not some pervert! I have morals, you idiot.” Her fists were practically flaring with flames at this point.

“W-What do you even mean by that? Christmas is long over now...hey, quit that, you leech!” Definitely not used to the PDA happening on her but who was she to really deny that she perhaps enjoyed it? It was nice to see this side of him, then his usually stiff like self. “There’s no mistletoe above us!”

At this point she had no idea what happened in the few instances that led to this. The pulsating pain than that ran through her head upon collision, or the fact that didn’t matter since she couldn’t really speak at the moment. ‘Hm, It ain’t all that bad--Wait what am I saying? What’s so nice about finally kissing him!?’ The immortal pulled away rather fast, her face as red as her clothing. “I...uh! Sorry!”

“Chill? What kind of man can’t keep up with his woman’s demands, ya sissy.” She scoffed. “I don’t expect you to know anything about that.”

 “I just do what needs to be done, no more no less. But now that I have you around and Chen too, it makes me want to live more, I guess.” Her voice was a bit sweeter sounding for that last part of her response, fiery hues looking at Zech. “Are you that surprised?”

“Flan wants to go to school! It looks like fun from all the books I’ve been reading! Flan can wear a uniform, have lunch and make friends with everyone!”
