Taehyung whispers the words quietly against Yoongi’s skin as he trails his lips lower to follow the vines on the tattoo and Yoongi finally wakes when the younger kisses against a sensitive spot on his body.

One thing about this AU is, Taehyung never really got to have a childhood. His father was leader of a main gang in Daegu and that alone took away his normal life but then the time came when his father knew he was going to be betrayed by his own men and Taehyung was sent off to Busan to live with Jungkook and and his family all while KNOWING the next time he heard about his father the man would be dead.  His life was hard from the start and with Yoongi he can have a bit of that “normal” life. 

Jungkook  and Jimin try their hardest to keep their son out of the mafia life  even if that doesn’t happen sometimes for the most part Yoongi is living his life like a normal teenager, Taehyung is brought back to the more humane life with the teen by his side. 

Jungkook’s fatherly instincts are still a bit rusty so of course he has to try hard not shoot his best friend, and right hand man, in the head when he comes home from a late meeting to find Yoongi in Taehyung’s lap as they both basically suck each others faces off. Jimin just laughs because he think’s Taehyung and Yoongi are cute. 

“C’mon Kookie you remember how we were when we first started dating?” 

“Yes and that gives me all the more reason to go shoot Taehyung!!” 

The rest of the members think Taehyung and Yoongi are cute too. 

Especially when after a hit gone wrong everyone can walk into the kitchen to see Taehyung sitting on the counter wincing while Yoongi stand between his open legs and stitches a wound on Taehyung’s thigh. Jungkook can’t help but coo a bit because Yoongi will gently run his hand up Taehyung’s stomach and smile gently. 

“You can’t keep getting hurt, stupid, we have a future planned together.” Yoongi will whisper.

“I know i know i’ll be more careful next time.” 

Taehyung will send Yoongi a look so deep and meaningful everyone feels like they have to look away because it’s so personal.  Jungkook and Jimin sigh because they know that look in Taehyung’s eyes. The look that says the man would take a million bullets for the Yoongi.

Taehyung being Jungkook’s right hand man also means Jungkook getting to see his son in ways that well, to be blunt, make him want to gag a bit. 

During meetings Yoongi will be on Taehyung’s lap rubbing Taehyung’s neck or arms while they listen to briefing on whatever is going on and he swears he can feel grey hairs forming because that is HIS CHILD IN HIS BEST FRIEND’S LAP, he’ll never get used to it honestly. 

Or when Yoongi and Taehyung rib their noses against each other as good luck before Taehyung has to go out for a drug trade. 

“Why do you guys do that?” 

“Because it’s a promise, he only gets the real kiss if he comes back to me. It’s reason enough for him to stay alive.” 

Jungkook groans because fuck that’s cute but also HIS BABY IS KISSING HIS BEST FRIEND!!!!

Never forget the day Yoongi came to Jimin asking for condoms because he’s still a teen and the store requires an adult to buy them. Jimin happily agreed because at least their son is being safe while Jungkook nearly lost his shit.

“I’LL FUCKING SHOOT TAEHYUNG!!! I’LL FIND A NEW BEST FRIEND AND RIGHT HAND!!” 

“Oh chill Jungkookie at least they’re being smart about the sex they have.” 

He takes it back later when Yoongi is crying about something and he watches Taehyung gently pull him closer and whisper sweet words into his ear until the teen is smiling again. Okay Jungkook thinks, he can let Taehyung live if it makes Yoongi happy. 

One time Jimin walks into the shooting range they have in their basement looking for Jungkook but instead he found Taehyung piggybacking with Yoongi on his back while the teen shot at the targets with a gun that looked a lot like Taehyung’s favorite gun. He just giggled and let them have their moment, even if it was odd. 

When it comes time for Yoongi’s prom at school Taehyung cannot go because he is an adult and while his parents may not mind the age gap other certainly do Yoongi decides not to go to the school dance. Taehyung decides to throw Yoongi is own “makeshift” prom with all the gang members dressing up while they decorate the living room into a ball room. Jungkook and Jimin, and the rest of the gang, coo over Yoongi crying when he sees everything Tae did for him. Taehyung may have also stolen a golden crown filled with diamonds from a store for Yoongi when he crowned him “Prom king” 

Sometimes they have their dark moments like when Taehyung has to head out for something that can actually get him killed. Jungkook hates watching Yoongi try to be tough. Yoongi will sniffle and hug Taehyung tight. 

“Come back to me alive, giant, we have a home in Daegu and kids to look forward to one day.” 

Taehyung will lift Yoongi’s face by the chin and smile softly. 

“I’ll always come back to you, princess.” 

Jimin will hug Jungkook and smile watching their son bid Taehyung goodbye. 

“They remind me of us.” 

“Yeah they do, only they’re gross.” 

It’s a few days before prom night and Taehyung is standing at his locker with his heart trying to stick in one piece as he remembers the way he and Yoongi yelled at each other over the phone. Sure, the two of them had always fought, they were both stubborn and hard-headed boys, but it’s never been as bad as that fight. Taehyug has never thought about ending it after a fight before.

“Yoongi do you even remember the last time you fucking called me?? Do you remember that you promised this shit wouldn’t happen?!”

That’s what had started it all.

Yoongi forgetting another skype date had been what set it off.

“Don’t you fucking understand I have shit I need to fucking do, the world doesn’t fucking revolve around you, Taehyung!”

Yes, Taehyung knew that. The younger understood Yoongi was still getting used to college and all the shit it came with but it’d been different this time. This time it wasn’t a simple date that Yoongi had missed, it had been their anniversary.

“I’M NOT SAYING IT DOES, JACKASS! I’M SAYING ALL I ASK FOR IS THAT YOU FUCKING REMEMBER THE DAY WE GOT TOGETHER!!!”

Yoongi had fucked up next.

“How could I forget it, It’s starting to be a big regret.”

“Yo man, I heard from Jimin that Taehyung is going to prom with some guy from their school.”

It’s a few days after their fight and Yoongi stiffens as Seokjin sits next to him with a certain look on his face.

“I think that’s cool, Ya know? That you aren’t tripping over your boyfriend doing something like that with someone else.”

Just the thought of Taehyung, HIS Taehyung, being in someone else’s arms has Yoongi choking back vomit. There was no way in hell the elder could let that happen. There was no way Min Yoongi would ever lose the only boy he’s ever given a shit about to some stupid football jock and there was no way Yoongi was just going to sit there and let someone else take what was his.

“I got to go! I got to buy a ticket to Daegu.”

Seokjin doesn’t even get to laugh before Yoongi is dashing out the library, already on the way to Seoul International Airport.

“You don’t look like you’re having much fun.”

It’s prom night.

It’s the most important night in Taehyung’s high school life and the younger is standing on the roof of his school, staring wide eyed at the boy in front of him.

“Y-Yoongi..“

The elder looks like he’s three seconds from bursting with the way his body shakes to just hold Taehyung. It’s been a long flight and Yoongi is dead tired, not having really thought it over when he bought the earliest ticket to Daegu, but as he stands there in his messy shirt and skinny jeans watching Taehyung’s surprised face, he doesn’t regret it. He could never regret flying to his home town as soon as he could to see the way Taehyung look absolutely breathtaking in his white suit, despite the tear he had in his wide brown eyes.

“I fucked up.”  The elder takes a step closer to Taehyung. “That day I said the day we got together was a regret, I fucked up and I didn’t mean it.”

Taehyung can’t help but let out a sob mixed with a chuckle as he finally moves to hold Yoongi’s hand.

“You didn’t need to fly to Daegu, you could have call-”

“No, i needed to come.” Yoongi cuts the other off. “I needed you to know that I could never regret you. I need you to know I love you so fucking much I would jump on a million planes anytime to anywhere just so you know I love you.”

It’s all Taehyung needs to kiss Yoongi as the tears never stop coming.

“You’re fucking insane.”

Yoongi laughs.

Everyone just kind of stares with wide eyes as Yoongi sits and enjoys his lunch, blank faced as fuck, as Taehyung just casually climbs his lap and chomps down on his arm.  The alpha grunts and looks down and everyone kind of expects him to be mad that Taehyung is basically using him as a chew toy but to everyone’s shock, Yoongi just smiles at the cute omega.

“Yah brat, don’t bite so hard.”

“YOONIE HYUNG!!!!”

The Omega’s eyes are a bright electric blue showing off just how excited he is to see his favorite Alpha and literally all the other alpha at Yoongi’s table get soft as fuck for the cute pup.

“Hello, precious puppy!” Seokjin, a close alpha friend of Yoongi’s speaks up. “Who are you?”

Taehyung just fucking beams and wraps his arms around Yoongi’s neck while the alpha completely ignores the shocked stares they are getting.

“ ‘M Taehyunggie!” The younger boy giggles and nuzzles his nose against Yoongi’s cheek. “I’m gonna be Yoonie hyung’s mate one day when I’m bigger!”

“Taehyung…. What the fuck are you doing?”

It’s not freezing out yet but it’s still fresh and both of them are in their pajamas as Taehyung strings up Christmas lights on their roof. It’s really a sight to see, to be honest.

“I decided today is Christmas! Not Halloween!

Just seeing the way the younger has that boxed grin on his face and the way Taehyung’s eyes light up in pure happiness is enough to have Yoongi grunting as he grabs part of the lights to string up. Not giving a single fuck what anyone thinks. 

“Alright, little shit. But good luck finding a Christmas tree now.”

Taehyung is a bit odd, he likes to bite at them because he loves how Yoongi can’t really hold back his moans. In general, Yoongi’s always liked Taehyung’s little habit of biting. The elder thinks it’s cute how Taehyung just kind of latches onto his shoulder or stomach when they are cuddling and just slightly nibbles on him. 

He begins to regret ever telling Taehyung that, though, when the younger starts attacking him with bites in other places too. 

The first time it happens it’s kind of an accident too. They’re in their normal places while watching a movie, with Taehyung’s laying on top of Yoongi as his head rest over the elder’s chest to listen to his heartbeat. Taehyung has long gotten bored of the action flick that plays on screen and has already turned his head to nibble against Yoongi’s collarbones softly. 

It pulls a soft smile to Yoongi’s lips as the elder brings a hand up to hold Taehyung’s head against his spot so the younger can suck a bit better on his skin. 

“You’re like a puppy, i swear.” 

The words are whispered to not disturb the other members in the room but Taehyung still hears them loud and clear.

“Am not!” 

“Are too~~” 

Taehyung huffs the more Yoongi teases him and without even thinking he leans down to bite at Yoongi’s nipple roughly through his shirt. Almost like he expects, Yoongi stiffens against Taehyung and the elder can’t even stop the loud moan he lets out as his hands instantly shoot down to hold Taehyung’s hips down over him.
