"Thank you, I appreciate that," he chuckled. Being left more or less unsupervised around Tabby was a bad idea. He was pretty sure she could eat him alive if she wanted. "Sounds like you were having a great time, I'm sorry I missed it. I hope there were hearty rounds of applause from the crowd. Oh, man. Jake and those birds are a force to be reckoned with. We should definitely keep checking in on him."

Tabby was sure that Jesse was out of his depth right now, but she was interested to see how he would handle himself. It had been a while since she had free rein to hit on him. "It's okay, I am having a great time right now. I always have fun. They could have praised me more for sure. I was in there a bit ago, he is having fun. It's a nice change, you are smiling, and he is drinking."

"Oh my god, how could I forget? You're soooo shy," she teased, pulling Tabby closer as they danced. Latife snorted out a laugh as she rightfully rinsed Lucas Baizen, glad she wasn't the only one who was over it. "No, seriously! I'm trying to be supportive, it's not like he's an uggo but I honestly felt like I needed resuscitated during their conversation. He brings the vibe down so hard. Not the ice princess, fucking hell, imagine! What is she even doing at the party, anyway? They must have taken all the fun for themselves."

Tabby chuckled as they danced together. She was keeping her eye out for anyone new walking in, she had already talked to pretty much everyone she wanted to tonight. But there could always be someone else, she kept her options open. "I bet, I have a feeling that watching paint dry would be more engaging. I am sorry you had to watch that." She laughed, she could see Elizabeth talking to Caisson Andrews of all people. "I have no idea, and why is Caisson wasting his time with her?"

"Totally right. I mean, the writing couldn't be more on the wall. Sure, it might take Jesse another 6 hours or whatever to figure out what's going on but a little flirting will be good for him. Or a lot," she added, giving Tabby a look. "Make sure he dies happy. Oh! And that they play your song, it should be the perfect moment. Seriously like, leave some for the rest of us. So true... This party doesn't stand a chance against us." Sapphire's grin faltered a little, a thought she had in the back of her mind always slipping out. "I should talk to Camille."

"You know me, babe. I don't do a little, I am going all out no matter what." Tabby smirked and nodded her head. "He will have a big grin on his face, don't worry. My song, yes! Good call. Not even a little bit of a chance, we will make sure these losers have fun if we have to drag them." She shook her head a bit, she knew that they hadn't talked in a while. "I mean, if you want. Is drunk Sapphire going to get your message across properly?"

He was staring. Holy fudge, why couldn't he stop staring? 'Stop staring!' Gunnar forced his eyes to follow a tray of appetizers and hoped that no one had spotted his major brain lapse.

Tabby noticed Gunnar staring, he wasn't alone in the staring. It was flattering to her. She looked gorgeous and wanted to be looked at by anyone hot. She moved around the dance floor, stopping in front of Gunnar. "Just staring, or are you actually going to give me a dance partner?"

Nilay smiled and shook her head a little when she noticed Tabby attracting the attention of everyone in her immediate radius. She looked like she was having the time of her life and, while it could never be her, Nilay loved that for her. "You're going to cause a few heart attacks if you keep that up."

Tabby loved making a spectacle out of herself. It was for everyone's benefit, they got a show. And she got to show off for everyone. "I hope the boys and girls around here aren't at risk of a heart attack yet. Maybe one of their hot uncles, though."

"Lessons learned, Tabby," Jesse joked as she pulled him away from them. It was for the best forsure. There was no shame in admitting that he found Tabby intimidating - who wouldn't? - but she was undeniably charming in her way. "Have you been having fun since we parted?"

"You are forgiven, babe." Tabby winked at him. She took him over to one of the outdoor seating areas. Plenty of half-empty glasses and bottles were around them. She was sure Jesse wasn't ready for her. But he was hot, and she was looking for some fun. "Of course, I got to dance, everyone loved it. Found Jake, he is having a good time with all his birds."

"Oh, shit! I'm sorry. I'm-," she held her hands up, letting out a nervous laugh. All this time out of high school and Tessa still felt brain deactivate in front of Tabby Dryden. "My hands are by my sides."

Tabby smirked as she saw Tessa's freak-out. It was written all over her face. She loved this kind of stuff, messing with people. "They don't have to be, just be careful if you keep touching."

"The absolute fucking worst, babe! You've been so brave and I'm proud of you. Don't worry though, daddy's home now," she grinned, giving her a playful nudge.

"You know me, I can't do this party thing alone. I am just so shy and need all the help I can get here." Tabby teased back, they both knew Tabby could find the fun in any situation.

Jake kept up with the speed of her pour with ease, drinking it all without spilling a single drop. It certainly was a more interesting way to consume alcohol, but he wasn't ready to let go of the swans just yet. "Pretty sure fun is all he's up for tonight." It had been a while since they had hooked up, but he was pretty confident that she was probably talking about him. At being called a good boy, Jake grinned and turned to face her, his cheeks flushing pink. Maybe after everything, things really could go back to how they were. Maybe it was actually easier to pretend than he had thought. "Were you planning on getting in here?"

Tabby was impressed with how much Jake was putting away tonight, the Hunters were always a good time and could hold their liquor. "Good, because I like fun, Jake." She liked to party with Jake. They had a good time, and usually it led to them hooking up. Tabby was here to have fun, and she would make everyone join in. She smirked at the invitation, untying her dress and dropping it on the ground. She had worn a bikini after all. "I thought you would never ask." She sat right next to him. "Like the bikini?"

"Thanks, babe," she laughed. Jesse really was her former brother-in-law... "Technically, he is my brother-in-law still. More like brother-in-limbo if we're being so forreal. Not a great tagline for this party, though." Sapphire had been purposefully not thinking about her beloved yet undeniably absentee baby sister. Sophia had made her choice and after all this radio silence, it was clearly over. Right? "He does look so hot!" she laughed, happy to pulled out of her thoughts. "The Vanderbilt genes are no joke. Yes we do and I mean honestly, who better?"

"I mean, we are at a party to hook him up. If it isn't over yet, I mean it's gotta be done soon, right?" Tabby still couldn't believe that sweet baby Sophia had actually run away from her husband. That was definitely more of Sapphire's gig. But people around here always had a surprise or two in them. "I'm gonna get him on that dance floor tonight." She nodded. "How is it fair? I mean, family full of hotties. Between us, Latife, Juliette, Camille, and Theo, we can outweigh the dorks."

Jake's lips tugged into a half smile as a small laugh escaped him. "Yeah, you're probably right." He loved Jesse, and he would never tell someone that they couldn't hook up with someone else, but his type had never been the Tabby Dryden's of the world. "That so?" His head dropped back obediently, resting on the edge of the hot tub as he opened his mouth.

"I thought you would know I usually am." Tabby grinned at Jake. She was glad to see Jake being more of himself. The sad boy thing had been boring. "Uh, huh, depends on if he's feeling like having fun." She held the back of his head before pouring a good amount of the bottle into his mouth. She patted the side of his face. "Good boy." She winked at Jake before taking a swig from the bottle.

"On paper... Maybe. I mean, to be fair, on paper Jesse sounds like a pretty boring idea-," she said, covering her mouth to hold back her dramatic gasp. "Oh, shit. You didn't hear that. I've had too many wine coolers, my vibes are totally off." Sapphire laughed then, holding her cup up in agreement. "Did you see Tripp stopped by? I don't think he was fully briefed on the scale of what was going on here."

Tabby hadn't expected Sapphire to be that blunt about it, but she wasn't wrong. She let out a surprised laugh at Sapphire's attempt to recover. "I'm not going to tell your former brother-in-law anything. Promise." She nodded her head. "I know, rare appearance. He looks so hot. Pretty sure most of the stiffs aren't ready for this party, guess we have gotta show them the way."
