I like you since we were 17 but I decided to not say it to you. I was afraid of the rejection, the awkwardness. We shared the same mutuals, the same circle of friends, and I had been liking you from distance. And that’s why, I’m afraid to be truthful to you because I had been liking to see you grow from afar.

Then, when we were 26, I decided to make a move on you. No longer thinking of the fear. I mean, fuck it, I’m growing old and at least with no regrets.

But… deep down, I felt you don’t look at me the same way as I look at you. You don’t care for me like I care for you. You don’t worry about my wellbeing like I worried for you.

and for that, when we meet in August, I’ll tell you my hearts out. and the next day, I promise to run away from you, as far as I could.

…because I’m that girl that only able to love you from afar. I accepted the fact I’m not what you wanted, what you needed. However, I still wish you the best because that’s what you deserve.

and I hope there will be a person for you that cried, worried, cared and bleed for you as much as I can do.

I fell in love again but i think that it wasn’t serious. I was not expecting him to stay for a long time because I learnt, previously, no matter how long you know somebody, feelings change. It fades. That person changed me. I am suppose to be happy with my changes right?

Am I leading myself with destruction? Am I opening up for another person to throw me out the window unexpectedly? Is having a comfortable vibe with someone is a mistake? Am I ruining myself again?

Honestly, love is not what I felt. It’s more like feeling complete when he’s around. And with that, how many hell he gives, I accepted it. I became more selfless. Now, I’m afraid I’ll be ruining myself.
