18th of Sun's Height;
Sythan watched silently as the Khajiit put her hand on her weapon and slowly took a hold of it. At least she isnât stupid. He thought with a smirk behind his mask. He was ready for a fight too if it so happened to come to that. Though he wouldnât use one of the two weapons he was carrying. He would use his magics. But not here, not in the city he called his home. âIt wasnât exactly that hard to give up a single fish.â He replied in a Nordic accent. âAlthough it did do as planned. To keep you from attacking me as soon as I approached.â He added, a smile heard in his voice. âHowever. This may sound strange, but I would like to ask if you would consider traveling with me.â He frowned to himself, fully realizing how idiotic that sounded. They had never met before and a fish wasnât going to make someone trust him enough to travel together. And he didnât really even know why he wanted to travel with someone. He just put it down to âTwo are better than One.â
Lavizsia eyed the stranger. âKhajiit does not trust so quickly,â She stated, âSo in order for her to travel alongside such a strange man, she must first learn more about him.âÂ
Slowly, she let go of her mace and stepped forward, her night-vision picking out the details of the manâs armor and features. He has a mask. Too bad, Khajiit cannot see him well. But one can always identify by scentâŚ
Her nose twitched as Lavizsia sniffed at the air, her tail gently flicking side-to-side. He reeked of the city, and of the outdoors. A strange mix, he must spend his time in both places often. âNow, if you would be so kind as to introduce yourself to this one, it can be determined if she will travel and fight alongside you.â Or against you.
"I would certainly hope you don't trust that easily." Sythan replied as he watched the Khajiit get a little closer to him to better try to see him. He smiled behind his mask as he saw her realize his face was. Though he was pleasently surprised that she did not ask him to remove the mask. Not that he would remove the thing, he just did not want to have to try and explain why he would not.
The Khajiit then switched to trying to scent him, figure him out that way. He watched her nose twitch lightly in the darkness while her tail flicked from one side to the other.
"I am called Sythan Rumar. One of the last remaining DragonBorn. May I ask the same of you?" The smile he wore on his face could be heard through his voice as he watched to see the khajiit's reaction. Watched to see whether or not she would accept his request for the two of them to accompany eachother while they adventured.
