Syscourse Brackets (2025 - Finished)

Welcome to the next iteration of the syscourse brackets! Submit and vote for who the best syscourse blog is in a niche online setting!

Rules

Anyone is allowed to be submitted. Those who are submitted will be contacted before they are slotted to compete. If someone who is submitted runs multiple blogs, each individual blog will be considered its own entity (as each blog has its own content). Make sure to submit the blog you want in the running!

To submit a blog, send an ask with the blog’s name, and preferably a brief explanation of why you think they could win. You may submit as many as you’d like!

During the brackets, we want a nice, clean, very silly battle. Negative comments on my posts will be deleted, and users may end up blocked — even if they are part of the polling. If things go too far, individuals may even be disqualified.

Remember: the biggest rule is to have fun. These are meant to be silly — not serious. Take it all with a grain of salt.

Why are you doing this?

The syscourse tag could use some levity. There are many users who spread negativity, and I want to be another voice against that. Remember, these polls are just ridiculous silliness. Let’s all treat them that way.

And who are you?

With that, I’m done. I don’t blame the other bracket runners for quitting, this shit sucked ass. Sure, I loved the fun parts; I loved talking to my friends about my plans, and making the bracket, and the stupid little polls. I loved having something to look forward to at the end of each week.

But the constant accusations of voter fraud, the upholding of stupid silly levity polls as The True Meaning Of Syscourse, literally sending people to the hospital due to the stress of the polls, and the sheer amount of bullshit hate (seriously, why is my blocklist on this blog longer than some of my 1k follower blogs)? Not fucking worth it yall.

Congrats, @freezingcoldsystemtakes. You won syscourse! You are the best as syscoursing. You’re the one who keeps the tag consistently alive, and keeps people coming back for more. You’re the one with the most engagement, by far, in these brackets. Thank you for keeping us all here!

I would dust off the biggest dick in syscourse award, but that was SAS’s, fair and square. You can get the second biggest dick award though! Link to prize here.

I’m gonna be a bit real here, cause I’ve been rotating this idea in my brain.

If SAS wins, yay. If Freezing wins, yay. Do I have one I prefer? Yep! Do I have one I hate? Yep!

But at the end of the day, it’s just a tumblr poll. Nobody’s worth depends on it. Nobody’s value depends on if they win…. An incredibly niche stupid tumblr poll.

The first thing I had planned after the brackets were finished was a bonus round. This will not affect the 2025 winner — Freezing Cold System Takes took the win, no questions asked.

But there was one individual who was nominated no less than 5 times before I had to make a post about it. And I think it’s only fair to see what happens.

Congrats, @freezingcoldsystemtakes. You have won syscourse. You completely dominated the bracket, and won out against everyone else.

What does this mean for syscourse? Well, it seems everyone mostly likes the things that aren’t really syscourse; levity and fun satire.

What does this mean for the blog?

Sorry for the absence -- I just couldn't figure out the best way to ring this bracket in. The final round -- the real determiner, once and for all, on who the BEST syscourser is...

No more bells and whistles. No more competitions. No more beating around the bush.
