SATANAEL

She gasps, though…She knows that such a thing is possible for them. All the same it’s shocking as she stares at Satanael.

“YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL STILL!”

Madama releases him, but she lets her hands lightly hold his as she regards him curiously at his words. “Oh?” She tilts her head, “Well, no…I hear that we learn something about ourselves everyday. What was it?”

Satanael smiled broadly, and for a moment, their body shimmered, and he became she.

“Very much so,” Satanael crossed her legs, beaming and then humming warmly, “So many would-be Akiras, so many would-be Satanaels…and yet I am thou–thou art I.” She beams, “I am your Satanael, Akira. I have always been–and you and I are one.”

She relaxes at that before humming in agreement and nods, “That explains a lot…Really.” Akira feels more at peace…Satanael must have felt the same as well after all. She goes over and hugs the other, “I’m glad.”

Though her words inspired comfort for the young heiress, she couldn’t help but feel hopeless. “It’s normal for you to have that though,” she countered softly.

Haru poked at the horns on her head, “I don’t even understand how I came to be like this. I could have swore it was all a bad dream..”

“...You know, my offer is still on the table,” the demon lord hums, “The collective subconscious is a realm that you could always access, if you so desire it. You simply have to take the sea of chaos and give it order. I can show you how to do this, if you’d like.”

She laughs, her arms easily sliding around him and hugging him as she smiles up at him. “All has been well! I feel…Much better,” Madama tells him as she hugs him again, “What about you? Have you been well?”

She tilts her head, confused though she frowns a bit. “…I am thou…And thou art I?” The words leave her lips as she looks at Satanael, having spoken the very words she recalled from many months ago.

“…Is that…Something to it?”

Satanael’s expression drew into a frown, and he moved to pull Haru into an embrace. “Come here, darling...” he whispered, “Why would I stare...? I know all too well what it’s like to have horns and a tail.” He became She, then, and placed a gentle kiss to Haru’s forehead. Smiling, she pulled back to show Haru that she wasn’t alone.

“You’re welcome! It’s the least I can do for someone who has been looking after Joker.”

Astarte merely gave him a coy grin, taking his hand into her own, “It isn’t like you to doubt. Now, what do you say we give some troublemakers hell, hm?”

The king of hell turned, flexing his wings out with a ‘hm!’ and a ringmaster’s smile on his face.

Satanael seemed caught very much off-guard by this, blinking and staring down at Akira as her brain shut off and rebooted itself several times.
