"Omg Nae aren't you bitting more than you can chew AGAIN??" shh... nobody needs to know anyways I mainly got into this account to show off this concept art- i just recently found out about the colorful love jam by @dreamty-games and despite having like. 2-3 other projects in my hands i wanted to join. i originally wanted to do something fantasy based? but then i went the super self inserty route and decided to make a coming of age type of game with a chilean teen protagonist living in montreal and being a first gen immigrant (says the chilean teen girl living in montreal as a first gen immigrant... surprisingly enough julia is very much not like me though.) IF i have time I want to add two protagonists? so seong-woo as the male mc and julia as the female mc, with different personalities and routes (NO I AM NOT PUTTING TOO MUCH ON MY PLATE WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT). they'd both be able to romance the other characters except for blaire (black girl) who is only able to be romanced by julia because yuri!! yippe!! also in case anyone cares the other possible lis are khanh (vietnamese) and saif (egyptian). they're specifically those nationalities because i know people irl who are those nationalities and i wanna write them correctly. romance probably won't even be the super main focus it will just be an option because again i'm. i'm very much projecting. i saw the opportunity and i went with it. also why i'm going to be mainly solo devving this and dying. Right now the name is "A place for you who has yet to belong" but that is sooo long so I might just change it at one point. I originally wanted to put them in a french school but that would mean figuring out how them being in accueil would work and it was giving me a headache so now they're in a private english school (except for blaire). i might update more here but i tend to go on super long rambles so i might also just keep it a secret and force my friends to give me input (like i don't already).
