Reading this article was pretty depressing btw, everyone’s going to therapy allegedly but the emotional cowardice of this as a concept lmfao
that's because they're only going to therapy to learn new words to explain why they're never in the wrong lol
Did I not say we are in a ghosting epidemic lol
The kids. Didn't dodge the bullet.
This reminds me of the AAM letter about the guy who just... packed up and moved out on his girlfriend of multiple years that he was cohabitating with? while she was away and then had to face her again years later as his new boss.
It was a real doozy and I was like "surely this is one of the fake ones" but damn that's a depressing Wired story.
A reader writes: I was hoping you would be able to help me with a conundrum I got myself into. I have been an expat since graduating and hav
Remember the letter-writer who had ghosted his long-term girlfriend 10 years earlier and just learned she was about to become his new boss?
Incredible. Men when they obviously need to just apologize and make amends with a a woman they have mistreated

If anyone is interested in a longer history on black trans people, Black On Both Sides by C. Riley Snorton has been on my to-read list for a while now, and has some pretty excellent reviews.

something eye opening is hearing men complain about a scene in a movie being uniquely disturbing, looking the scene up, and it's something that happens to women in movies so much it's practically a trope. it makes you realize that you aren't overreacting or sensitive, they would be equally disturbed in the same circumstances. that makes me very frustrated
i think kids should be freely and easily be allowed to transition at low or zero cost and i want every public school to have gender neutral bathrooms and staff who know what being trans is and i want transition to not be as difficult as it is for kids.
Actually no how the fuck is it august
Pack it up everyone you’ll never be this funny
Happy “how the fuck is it august” to those who celebrate!

this video deserves at least three views per viewer, because there is no following both the belly dance and the added text at the same time while still giving either one the attention it needs for full appreciation, but watching only one or the other will miss more than half of the artistic intentions here

I have a BMI of 35. I am the cutoff for most of medicine. My size or larger, we can't access:
Fertility treatment
Gender affirming surgeries
Most surgeries, in fact
bc we can't donate our bodies to science and drs don't study on larger bodies. Medications aren't made for us bc we're often excluded from scientific studies. We're systematically excluded and then blamed for poorer outcomes.
I don't care whether you 'like' looking at me or bodies like mine; we deserve equal access to healthcare [all caps].
