“you’re cold,” the man to your side murmurs, tilting his head to watch you just over his shoulder. 

it’s raining in tharsis, coolly and hard with a complete lack of humidity. vicious hated the rain. he thought it inconvenient, something you had to traverse and make way for. but you stand here just a little farther from him than he particularly liked, watching the city around you from beneath the awning with a sort of awestruck look to you. in the same thought, he’d learned that you seemed to enjoy the rain. for any reason, he truly could not figure why— yet your expression was so soft toward the wet streets, it was hard for him to have a problem with it.

especially with that fuzzy coat of his wrapped around your shoulders. despite it, your awe could not save you from the biting wind; you learn this while digging your chin deeper into the plumey collar. and anyhow, that’s what vicious is for.

a gloved hand can’t help but round the curve of your back to your shoulder, pulling you closer to him in one gentle tug. he feels you laugh– a warm, pleasant thing, as you’re pulled from your reverie.

you curl into him with ease, your hand venturing to tuck itself within his vacant coat pocket sighingly. he now feels a lot warmer than he did inside, whether that be because of the very few drinks he had, or his personified affection for you— an affection so irrefutably keen amid any kind of denial he tried to convince himself of.

“no,” you whisper into his shoulder, your other hand winding around his arm and bringing it further around you. “not with you here.”

a hum reverberates from his throat, curl of lip unable to be helped as he leans down to press his nose to your hair, breathing you in. “you’re sweet,” he admits, words weaving into the perfumed strands and punctuated by a lingering kiss to your temple, like he hardly wanted to part. selfishly, he wouldn’t mind remaining right here with you. arm in arm; you’ll amuse him as the terrible downpour amuses you.

you only smile, tracing the seam of his overcoat with a deft finger. you lift your chin to gaze at him, jaw resting on his shoulder as you call his name softly. “‘we going home after this? i’d like to visit the market for dinner; we can—”

“—no,” he interrupts lowly, shifting his body closer toward you. “i will handle dinner for us. i want you to rest.” the firmness of his tone feels as if he’s telling you off, but you truly couldn’t be more endeared. this was him taking care of you. he even goes on to describe to you the variety of wines he’d come across at an off-planet shop he’d happened to pass by the other day, asking your preference for the two of you to share after dinner. he wanted to treat you, he told you; all while slipping the leather glove from his hand to slide it into his pocket alongside yours– skin to skin. 

the cocooned space is warm already, though seeming then horribly lacking the moment he coaxes your palm into his, thumb kissing your knuckles. your cheeks burn with a grin.

you marvel at how sweet he could be– especially as he begins to unravel his umbrella and pull you along with him, stepping to traverse the wetly lit streets with you nestled under his arm, yet remaining hand in hand. it’s a protective hold, as he knows you’ll easily slip back into admiring the freshly showered streets, lit by neon signs and late night shops closing within the next few hours.

these were your favorite kinds of nights. with him home for you and tired-eyed; it’d be seamless to trap him lovingly into your arms once home and abed. and you know he wouldn’t be able to help entertaining you, adoring you in a way that made such grand churches look useless.

vicious was thoroughly yours. so, so hopelessly.

Current Plans ~

(These are things that I think could be achievable for me, but there is a chance that not all of these will happen right away.)

♡ Desktop offline app

♡ Tabs for lore/timelines of your ships, headcanons and scenarios, letters to and from your f/o, etc.

♡ A gallery for art of your f/o, selfship art, Picrews, and any other images you want to save

♡ Templates for you, your f/o, and both/all of you together (Including image collages, ship templates, etc. designed by myself or others willing to have their art on this app with consent and credit)

♡ Multiple ships logged at once, potentially with connections between ships for those with more complex lore and polyshippers

♡ Message boards between you and your f/o (in the theme of texts, letters, etc) for roleplay or for soulbonders to communicate externally

♡ Calendar for important dates, anniversaries, birthdays, etc

Potential Plans ~

(These plans will be dependent on my ability to code them. As a beginner, I imagine these to be difficult, if not impossible, for me to do. Also, some of these require funding which I do not have out-of-pocket. Some kind of premium plan, Patreon, KoFi, or other subscription would be needed.)

♡ Mobile app (This is unlikely to happen without funding)

♡ If a mobile app is developed, widgets may be an option

♡ Notifications 'from' your f/o could be added

♡ Password-locked to prevent other users of your device to access your app

♡ Ability to change the profile picture of the app (without Shortcuts) or have an "Incognito" mode

♡ Transfer from offline-only to offline-first, with the ability to connect to the internet in order to have a friends list, where friends can view information you set to be able to be viewed (This will not happen without funding, and is therefore at the very bottom of the priority list right now. In the future, a Patreon or KoFi may be created for the app to have online functions)

We will keep them in mind and may add them to either "Potential Plans" or "Current Plans", depending on how much we think the idea would enhance the app, how achievable the idea is, etc. No suggestions are bad, but we will unfortunately likely be somewhat picky about what we choose

From time to time, I may post polls, Google Forms, etc etc to gauge interest in certain features, see who would like to help with this project, and more
