My dearest Fuckface

Even though I’m pretty sure that Shelby helped him with the second one (it has no spelling mistakes and let’s be honest, Tanner would never use the word ‘kind’ to describe his beloved Fuckface), these poems reveal sooo much about Tanners thoughts and about his feelings. Normally, Tanner Jeremy Aspen is not the person that writes poems. He is not a guy who thinks about red roses or blue tulips (in fact, he doesn’t even know enough about flowers to realize that there are no blue tulips). But for William Anthony, he makes these efforts. He does it.  And he confesses that he would never smash William Anthonys head, that he would never hurt him. That he is the only thing he has on his mind. Tanner loves him so much that he gives away the only weapon he knows: Violence. He would never ever again use physical violence against his boyfriend. Isn’t that the sweetes confession he could’ve made?

Me, an intellectual: In fact, AngryTears is not nearly as problematic as BoomTV. Whilst William Anthony and Tanner both never had the chance to speak about their traumatic experiences, nor opened up enough to speak to each other, about boundaries, expectations, wishes, we can clearly see Tanners huge developement in the scenes where he interacts with Naomi. Season 1 Tanner would've never paused a movie to speak with William Anthony about his issues, damnit, S1 Tanner just tried to get him drunker and drunker. But S2 Tanner interrupts his and Naomis movie night to make sure that his boyfriend is comfortable. Think about the Christmas Episode, when Naomi enters Tanners room because he's sick of the two of them being sad and alone. He is sick of them being sad alone, so he searches Tanner for them to be sad together. And Tanner finally finds the words to express his pain, to express the hurtful experiences he had to make with his parents. Think about how both Naomi and Tanner gain a lot of confidence throughout the whole Season 2. BoomTV may be a problematic ship, a problematic relationship, but AngryTears is goals

What she means: I can't stop thinking about the fact that William Anthony really needed Iskra, daughter of USA's most feared Russian mafia boss and a pyromaniac to tell him that his relationship with Tanner was unhealthy and that it is, in fact, not normal to be treated like shit, called Fuckface or whatever. I can't get over it. Our most violent, most cruel murderer thinks it is normal that you boyfriend makes you drunk until you sleep with him. I just. I can't.
