“There is a moment in the film where [Penélope Cruz] improvised a kiss with me. I was like, ‘Oh, hair in the gate. Do it again!’ I was so shocked when she did it that I actually turned my head and looked directly into the lens and through to my camera operator. He was like, ‘Olivia!’ and I said, ‘Namaste.’ For some reason that was the only thing that came to my mind, ‘namaste.’ And everyone was like, ‘What?’ And I was like, ‘I don't know. My mind went blank.’ My mind went blank because I was so struck by this moment. I lost control. I was so madly in love with her.”

Pages I like from a scrappy poetry booklet I made this week. It’s sort of a rambling about birds, queer love, religion, and empathy. Something like that. I just think we should make life a little softer for each other whenever possible.
