Hi!
I know it’s been a while. I just wanted to let you know, I’m strongly considering coming back to Tumblr and starting to design themes again! :) That’s all the information I have, I’m still coming up with ideas. But I’ll keep you in the loop. Let me know if you have any questions, feedback, ideas, requests, etc. I’m so excited to get back into design work!

hello, hello!
many apologies for promising new things and then, like, never delivering. i got very caught up in life, and was without internet for over a year! i survived (if you can believe it!) and now i'm back. i can't promise there will be any new tumblr themes any time soon, or that i will be able to get to all your messages.
as of right now, i can say that i will be discontinuing the themes i have already made. they will still (and probably always) be available to use for whoever wants them, but i will not continue to update or support these themes.
i am so grateful to all you followers (over ten thousand here still! amazing!) for supporting me and my web design when i needed it most. i'm so incredibly happy to announce that i now have a real life job as a web designer! it's so exciting, and i'm so, so happy with it.
i just want to keep you in the know, and let you know that i'm still around, i still love you. i'd love for you all to be my friends and follow my new tumblr at mck-r. hope to see you around.
you will notice a few small changes to this blog soon - such as the sweet-themes url being restored to this blog and being moved on over to my new account. i'll also be hosting it on my new website (to be announced soon! it's not finished!).

how do you center a theme?? there's some layouts that are cute but they'd look better not off to the side...if that makes sense
Some of my layouts? All of mine are centered except In The Morning, and that can be changed via the appearance options. :)

Thanks! Unfortunately, there's no clean way to do this, as it's all wrapped up in the way the tabs slide out from underneath the posts. I will definitely take this into consideration, as I've been asked about it before, in case I ever decide to update Valerie, but no promises!

Sure, no problem. :) I just used a simple HTML code in place of a theme code. I might start making them for other people. In the mean time, here's the one I use:

Hey, thanks so much! I actually haven't saved the customizations I used for that preview, but if the screenshot's all you want, then here you go. :)
I'm using your CONSEQUENCE V2 and for some reason, the custom links don't work. It just refreshes my page whenever I click on it. And also, the page symbol is a huge box. I was wondering why that is.
The page symbol is a "huge box" because some browsers don't read the symbols right. I had thought I fixed the problem when I updated Consequence v2. If your browser is reading the page arrows as boxes, it might be a problem with the browser you're using? I don't really know what else to do, but I will look into it.
As for custom links, I'm afraid I don't have a quick fix for it right now, but thank you for letting me know! I'll try to figure out what the problem is and fix it as soon as I can.
hello so i installed the theme in the morning & when i install it everything is a lot smaller and cramped together and i don't know why.. can you help?
I'm not quite sure what you mean by smaller and cramped together. Everything looks fine to me! If you still need help, please let me know, and be specific! :) I'd love to help you out with whatever you need.
I'm terrible, at this whole themes stuff. How would I add a "me" page to your "In the Morning" theme?
Hi! You can add pages through the customize page. Go down to the bottom of the sidebar and you'll see the word Pages with a triangle icon next to it.
Click it to expand the Pages options, and then click + Add a page
A window that looks like this will pop up:
Fill in your information. Using the Standard Layout option, whatever you put on the page will show up like a regular post on your blog. Sounds like that's what you want, right? Once you've got everything filled in, like this:
Click the Create Page button, and then you'll be all set! If you're using one of my themes, you should see the page link show up in the sidebar/header area with the other links.

Now that this project is finished, I can finally get back to updating Stay Beautiful (yeah again), and then expect some changes to Sweet Themes as well!
I'm using your 'In The Morning' theme and I was wondering if there was a way I could change the picture instead of being circle, to just a normal square, I would really appreciate it if you helped me out on this :)
Yep. It's a little tricky, but go into your theme editor (classic works best!) and find this code:
.userpic { float: right; border-radius: 100%; -moz-border-top-right-radius: 100%; -moz-border-top-left-radius: 100%; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 100%; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 100%; margin-left: 10px; }
Just take out all the lines that have
border-radius
in them and your icon will be square. :)
