I wasn't as interested in going to the human world as they were, but I wanted to stay with them, and they all had their own reasons to go.

Before we left, our father had arranged for J to be married to a princess from another kingdom, so our two kingdoms would merge.

After we left, my father started a war with the other kingdom. Now the princess blames us for this war.

If you were to ask Sam about who he sees as the strongest brother of them all, you might be surprised to hear that he wouldn't choose himself. He struggles to pick between his youngest two brothers. Normally, Damien would seem like the no brainer but Matthew has his own strength.

After all, Sam wouldn't be here if he didn't.

Looking back at it all, maybe he shouldn't have been so mouthy with his father. Maybe if Sam held his tongue more when he was an adolescent, he wouldn't have angered his father so. Maybe he wouldn't have been launched out of the window pane.

Back then, he thought that was it. He was doomed to fall into the Decaying Sea below. His life flashed before his eyes as time seemingly slowed down around him with nothing he could possibly do to stop his descent.

Then someone caught him.

Barely hanging off the lower balcony, gripping the pillar beside him until he cracked the stone, the brother Sam least expected caught him and managed to barely hold onto his arm until the eldest could be brought in.

What does enthrallment feel like?

The way it's described in game, it's essentially a power that elicits good emotions, usually of the horny variety but I wanted to expand on that.

In general, enthrallment is a tool that succubi use to lull someone into a more agreeable state. Whether that be general happiness, being more willing to listen or lust. But enthrallment feels different depending on who's enthralling and how harshly they're trying to control someone.

I decided to write how each boy's enthrallment would feel like, plus Diana.

James- A fragrance. In light amounts, you smell the pleasant scent of vanilla and honey making you feel more relaxed. It makes anything he says or does feel more reasonable. In heavier amounts, you feel the thick texture of honey at the back of your throat. It gets harder to breathe or think as the intoxicating smell of vanilla and coating of molasses makes your brain slow to react.

Erik- A feeling. In light amounts you feel warm water on the skin. It reminds you of a nice vacation at the beach or a warm bath. How could a man so relaxing be of any harm? In heavier amounts, it feels like the last stage of drowning. You don't feel the sting of water in your lungs for your brain has skipped that part, instead you feel the dizzying pressure of the last bit of air being stolen from your lungs. You're too dazed to counter.

Sam- A feeling. In light amounts, you feel a fire in the soul. The heat of a hearth or the warmth of a fire. It feels like talking with an old friend over a grill or such. In heavier amounts, your body feels too warm. It's easier to just follow what he says, everything is too humid without him but he's the correct amount of heat. That is, if he's trying to use regular enthrallment, if he's trying to take your rage magic, his enthrallment is like an inferno lighting a fire under your heart.

Matthew- A feeling. In light amounts, it's a weight on the mind and soul like a weighted blanket. It's somewhat heavy but it's a comforting weight that makes you feel secure. Safe. In heavier amounts, it's a strong pressure, near impossible to ignore. It's near uncomfortable but as it slowly overtakes your thoughts it takes up so much space that it's hard to think of anything else.

Damien- A thought. In light amounts, it's a beckoning of the mind. Like an owner calling for its pet. It's a suggestion so natural that it feels hard to argue with. Why did you ever disagree with it in the first place? In heavier amounts, it's a loss of control. You're besides yourself, your body slowly becoming not your own. For a moment of lucidity, your mind and body differ before even your thoughts are being lulled into this hypnotic state.

So I recently finished watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and boy did it revamp my obsession with knights and just sworn protectors in general!

Cause I haven't updated that in a while!

I still like the idea of individuality within the kissing scenes of the boys… So today's SMS is "What would it be like to be held/kissed by each boy if I were to rewrite it?"

To be held by James is to feel practiced elegance. His hands are held firmly on your back as you scoot in closer on his lap. One hand goes up and holds the back of your neck. It’s all about support. There’s something rehearsed and stiff about his posture. It’s not uncomfortable, by contrast; you’re given reign to adjust as you please, but his hands and body don’t move unless you do and his lips stay firmly above board… at least at first.

When your kiss goes from necessity to indulgence, he becomes more mobile. His form relaxes into the chair; his hands pull you in more intently as the hand once on your back travels downwards to your hips. Less about support and more about control as he essentially has you pinned to him. His lips travel downwards, gracing neck and chest with deep, marking kisses. He feasts like a starving man and for a moment, he forgets all decorum.

To be held by Erik is to also feel something practiced but more natural. His hands guide you to the grass beneath you, twirling themselves around your hair. With soft kisses and nibbles he tests your boundaries. On your cheek, on your lips, your nose, your ears, your chin, and so on. He’s a man of variety, using noises and flinches to see if he should proceed or back off. It’s almost like he’s done every option a thousand times with how accurately he can tell between a moan of pleasure and a squeak of discomfort.

When you choose to go further, it’s you who gets bolder. You start testing his boundaries and he chooses to be more obvious with his tells knowing you are less experienced. It almost becomes a game, one that divulges into light hair pulling and heavy panting. Maybe he lost his practiced edge for a moment there and just let himself feel.

To be held by Sam is to start off on the wrong foot, a pattern with this man. He yanks you onto his lap with a strong grip and kisses you roughly. It’s like a fight. Weak enthrallment can’t hide your discomfort, and you must pull away and tell Sam to be gentler. If you’re going to help him, you have the right to be comfortable. In a turn of character, Sam’s gaze softens as his hold remains firm but is no longer a grip. Tensions in the air soften as he lets you lead, his own inexperience making him unsure of how to proceed. You hold his face as you lean in and show him what you prefer in a kiss. He doesn’t protest, merely putting a hand to your upper back to support you.

Things loosen further as you proceed past what is necessary. His body, once tense and stiff as a board, relaxes as you pull in closer. If you’re wearing a choker, he removes it to kiss the nape of your neck. A calloused hand run up and down your back in a somewhat soothing motion. It’s no longer pressing up against you, but it never leaves your back. He is probably the clumsiest kisser but there’s an awkward charm to it.

To be held by Matthew is to see a new side to him. A nervous, hesitant energy. He wordlessly adjusts you to have your body leaned up against the cupboards you two collapsed near, the soft light of your phone helping you know where you are. His kiss is light and tender, he keeps his hands off you. He’s trying so desperately to be as respectful as possible seeing the awkward situation, you’re held up in. The most he does at the start is rub the draping part of your shirt between his fingers as a stim to ground himself. As you get more comfortable though, the soft hand that rubbed your shirt, lifts to hold your lower back. Your own hands go over his shoulder holding yourself steady.

Things heat up and what was once a tender, nervous kiss turned deep and passionate. You had to give him credit; he knew how to kiss well and even tease your lower lip to deepen said kiss. The light of the phone dims as it powers off from idle timing. And suddenly it goes dark; the only illumination being the golden glow of his eyes. You hazily remember ending up lying on your back on the floor. Whether it was you or Matthew or both that brought you here hardly mattered anymore.

To be held by Damien is to be once more surprised by his contrasting choices. Up until this point, he came across as mild mannered if not a little nervous. He even seemed hesitant to kiss you. But once he gained that reassurance, his eyes grew lustful and before you knew it your body was strewn on top of your grandfather’s desk, albeit gently. He was a wildcard, truly unpredictable. His enthrallment flickered indecisively as he was not used to using his powers against others, yet his kiss spoke of his desperation. His surprising boldness faded when he deemed himself full and attempted to cool himself down as swiftly as possible.

A took a few creative liberties with these guys (freckles for dame and Matthew, little bits of blue in Matthew’s hairs and some scars for Sam Erik and dame aswell ) aswell as adding my little rose by Diana’s eye like in that fanart I did of her once heheheh

Happy 5th anniversary of the release of Seduce Me The Otome!

My it really has been that long hasnt it.

Damien and Sam, in my eyes, have very potent foils towards each other. Damien is naive and harbors very strong affection towards humans based off flawed ideals and self-hatred of his kind. Sam is realistic, a man who can't help but appreciate his demon roots and views most of humanity as cruel and ignorant.

However, while some older siblings seem to have resentment towards their younger siblings nativity and flawed optimism, this doesn't hinder Sam and his protective love over Damien.

I like that Sam's respect towards people is actually based off how they treat others. His obvious hate for his father, his dislike towards James ideology in Prince vs the Brute "Id rather see them as an equal than shove them on a pedestal" or how people think they are better based off faulty reasoning or their lifestyle/status/class.
