THIS AMERICAN SOUTH

This is my very first blog and I've been so happy to watch it grow over the last year. Thanks, everybody, for your regular viewing and support!

There doesn't seem to be too many Tumblr blogs devoted to providing original content—or at least they seem to be in the minority—and so I once thought maybe I was in the wrong place or chose the wrong site to host my work. (Not that I expect much in the terms of visibility or 'likes.') But it's been such a treat to see my pictures reblogged on all kinds of different gothic feeds. It brings me a lot of joy to go look at y'alls blogs and see what my little ol' photography looks like in greater context, surrounded by exactly the kinds of imagery that inspire me as an artist in the first place!
