when i was little i didn’t know how the alarm function on my ipad worked so whenever i wanted to se an alarm i would count the time from the moment i was gonna set it and when i wanted it to go off and use the timer function instead, there was many nights when i had a 9h timer running to wake me up at 7 then next morning

one time when i was like 8 and i played soccer there was a reff who was like HARDCORE about the rules, especially for a children’s house league but whatever. and i was wearing a bracelet my grandma got for me from like florida or smt, nothing too special she went there every winter. it was one of those like string ones you tie on and can never take off unless you cut it or it rips, and i was like uber sentimental about it, idfk why. but the reff came up to me and was like you gotta take that off, and i was like i can’t, and he told me to cut it, and one of my friends came up and was like “it’s the last thing her grandma gave her before she died” a complete lie, i’m actually pretty sure my grandma was at that game, but the reff let me keep the bracelet so i was happy
