Hello my fellow depresseds, how are we doing

#it's been awhile since I was truly like actively depressed #depression is almost always situational for me but sometimes situations can't be changed or at least not immediately #anyway I hate this #I'm not looking forward to anything right now except someday dying I realized today 😅#but I can't say that to anyone because they'll freak out #so I say it to Tumblr I guess??? certified yapper as always I cannot suffer in silence about anything #anyway #I still love my dog and I love hiking I just haven't had the time or the energy to get out and hike #and whenever I do the weather is dangerous and I can't #family is visiting next week and I'm not even excited to see them #I'm just thinking about how much extra work it's going to make for me since everything always falls to me #I am so tired and burnt out I just want to be done with everything #just been dragging myself through my days feeling like I'm not even me #but somehow keeping up the pretense that everything is chill and good so nobody freaks out #anyway here I am. Approximately how much time and therapy does it take to outgrow the need to earn your parents' approval and the always striving to be "good enough" and always feeling like you're not thing, asking for a friend
