Το πρώτο επεισόδιο της σειράς μας συστήνει τον Αντώνη (Πάνος Βλάχος), έναν νεαρό και ταλαντούχο τσαγκάρη και λυράρη.Ζει στα Κύθηρα με τους φτωχούς, αλλά περήφανους γονείς του (Αθηνά Τσιλύρα, Κώστας Φλωκατούλας), οι οποίοι τον στέλνουν να δουλέψει δίπλα στον Δέρκο (Φώτης Θωμαΐδης), τον πιο γνωστό τσαγκάρη του νησιού.Σε ένα γαμήλιο γλέντι, όπου ο Αντώνης παίζει λύρα, θα δει την Άννα (Ντένια Στασινοπούλου) και οι δύο νέοι θα ερωτευτούν με την πρώτη ματιά.

1909.Antonis Kastelanis (or Gerakitis) is a young and talented cobbler and lyre player. He lives in Cythera with his poor but proud parents, who send him to work alongside Derkos, the most renowned cobbler on the island.
