She's a supporter and a hater.
Psst, hey, kids, do you like crying while reading a fanfiction? Then I can recommend you this absolutely amazing story Blue by @hollypunkers if you havenât read it yet â¤
I absolutely love it with all my heart and my todayâs little comic is a scene from this wonderful work
Spy: From here, I got to behold a scene that till now has only existed in my dream journal.
Spy: A muscular man and woman beating a Nazi to death together naked, while covered in honey.
Googled something about quick hydration and it suggested big jug of water, couple tbsp pickle juice, dash of lime juice.
Its surprisingly tasty????
Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.
-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)
-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt
-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint
-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.
I have been reminded of:
-shrub: vinegar, sida water, elderberry (or other berry), sugar.
I have now been informed of
-sekanjabin: honey, vinegar, mint, water.
"Wow, I wonder why this post was popular this week."
-sees the reports of the heatwave in Europe-
"... ah."

ok I know everyoneâs considered Ryland grace wearing an âI put the ace in spaceâ t shirt but. have we considered the infinitely funnier option of putting this shirt on eva stratt
I had to draw this
"We know it looks like a butt plug, just drink the water, it's hot outside"
Seriously though he's right, stay hydrated
"Fill up," he says.
I cried watching Project Hail Mary btw
his first point was going to be âi donât even get up at night to peeâ
Something just came to my mind. Previously one of the minor criticisms I had about the Backrooms movie was the scene where Mary yells at Clark. It kinda took me out of the film because even in the stressful situation that she was in, I don't see any reasonable therapist yelling at a clearly mentally deranged man like that, which could've easily turned things farther south and thus put both the therapist and their client in harm's way.
The more I think about it though, and maybe this was pretty obvious to some, the more I feel like that was intentional. Mary is not a good therapist. In the sense that she thinks she has to "help" her clients. Now maybe that's confusing. Isn't that the job of a therapist? Well, not exactly, as one of my previous therapists said to me: "I'm not here to help you. I'm here to guide you."
This all ties into her own trauma of dealing with her mother as a child. How she couldn't help her then and is still stuck up on that as a full grown adult. When Clark vaguely informed her that he was somewhere else via phone call, she couldn't have just called the police and request a welfare check like any sane and reasonable therapist would. No, she had to go search for Clark herself. She had to be the one to help him. She was breaching boundaries by personally going to the store.
So then we get to the dinner table scene where she yells at Clark. She does this out of frustration for Clark's behavior and inability to take responsibility of course, but she's equally frustrated that what she's been doing hasn't been working. Because she saw Clark as someone to she had to help instead of guide. To fix. To solve. To save. To bring up the same therapist again and paraphrase something they said to me regarding my mental state: "I do want you to get out of the shitbucket, but if you stay in there on your own choice, there's only so much that I can do." Mary basically went through one big wake up call in this movie.
All of this begs the question on if she actually cares about making her clients better or if she chose this job to make herself feel better about what previously happened in her traumatic past. To have some semblance of control that she didn't have when she was dealing with her mother.

broooo this baby looks like if you described a dog to someone that's never seen a dog before and then asked them to draw it đđđ
"We all have our loops. Our habits."
"Behaviours that keep us walking in circles."
"Reaching for the same solutions over and over again."
"Thinking each time will take you somewhere new..."
"...but they don't."
"And still, it's the neural pathway of least resistance."
"A path you made."
"It's the one that kept you safe when you were a child."
"You learned to push people away before they could hurt you."
"And now, as an adult..."
"...you're still stuck right where you started."
"Alone."
That look, lol! đ
I was incredibly bored today and decided to quickly make these High Quality Charts. All of this data was gathered from AO3 search results.
tf2 heritage post
to people acting shocked about the data, keep in mind this post is from 2016 and furthermore spy was revealed to be canonically scoutâs dad in comic 6 which was in 2017. the data is probably way different now since this is a decade old
joining the war on kids reading any book they want on the side of kids reading any book they want. simply you will be fine. it's even good to be confronted with things you don't understand and even find upsetting, uncomfortable and difficult. it's a surprise tool that will help you later.

literally ok so not a funny story but kind of funny? when I was nine I encountered rape in a book and I was like hey mom whatâs this mean and she explained it and I was like oh. gross. and then like two weeks later a girl on the bus abruptly disclosed her csa and we were all like ????? what ???? but I was like wait hang on thereâs a word for that âď¸đ¤Â and explained what it meant and that it was illegal and that you could talk to a teacher or my mom if it had happened to you and everyone was like ohhhhh I see I see and very somberly comforted the girl (she was safe she was removed from her home and living with my neighbor at the time so it wasnât Urgent)
And this is a perfect illustration of why it is important for kids to read or variety of things, and why abusers donât want them to.

This week im seeing colors on heat maps Iâve never even considered before
Evil fuck you purple heat storm over France
To the people who might go "yeah well that's a regular summer in [insert country or region]", I would like to point out the obvious that France (and other European countries curently suffering) is not these countries used to such heat for such mong periods of time.
Yes, it is finally summer, and yes, it's supposed to be hot too here. Except our hot temperatures are still way below that. The average temperatures at that period between 1991-2020 are 15-20°C below what we're experiencing. It's 41°C in Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, when it should be about 25, 42°C in Rennes when it should be 22.
On Tuesday 23rd, France was hotter than 99% of the planet. Only some specific zones in the Sahara, Arabian, and American deserts were hotter.
In the night between Monday and Tuesday, temperatures only came back down to between 21 and 28 degrees. Those are supposed to be the temps at day.
About A/C: it's true, most of the country doesn't have it. Some public transportation, supermarkets, restaurants have it, and some individual houses too. But that's about it. Because we didn't really need it until a few years ago, and it's both hard and expensive to get it installed, especially in older buildings like those in Paris. But also, you've got to understand that if A/C makes your life easier inside, it considerably worsens things outside. The heat generates by A/C would up the termps a few degrees more, and would not fix the issue of going outside.
I often wonder what happened to authors of unfinished fanfictions.
I hope theyâre having a nice life
we absolutely are not and that unfinished fic haunts us to this day
