One thing many modern superhero films miss out on, I feel is the Superhero's relationship to the random people they save. Many MCU films have escalated to the point of numbers so high its unthinkable- and they've lost that personal touch. Moments like this are a visual metaphor for what makes the hero keep fighting, keep going, keep standing up. There's a reason this scene from Spiderman II is one of my favorites ever.

Superboy #8 - “When Superboy was a Superbaby!” (1950)

Imagine Dan coming to pick you up for a date on a motorcycle. He’s your crush. He pulls your shirt up and reaches into your panti3s to fiddle with your cl!t.

“Wait, you’re dating Alice.” You pull away from him. “And since when do you have a motorcycle? I must be dreaming.”

Dan beams benevolently. “If it’s just a dream, then you don’t mind if we continue?”

You return the smile, but place your hands on his chest. “It still feels weird-”

“______, you haven’t seen weird yet.”

Cables spring forward from the bike, burrowing themselves under the flesh of his arms. You turn to run and almost trip; the cables are coiled around your ankles.

“Wanna go for a ride, ______?”
