Yes, I watched the new Avatar movie on Paramount Plus, and honestly? I liked it! I liked the new voice actors, I liked the direction they were going for Aang's culture, and HOLY GOD, I adored the animation! When it came to beefed up muscles, Toph wins the prize!

You can grind meat on her abs, shoulders, triceps, and everything!

And that metalbending? *chef's kiss*

I've been struggling to to create and find inspiration for a tribute to Sam Neill. I started on a project, but there were too many tweaks and corrections. Shortly afterwards, I learn about Kaylee Hottle's death. She was way too young, AND she just began to bloom on screen! It's so damned unfair!

Then, suddenly it clicked. I drew something that-- well, hopefully you get the idea...

Dexter's Daughter

Dinah- is the only child of Dexter, the CEO of the space program DexCorps. She is much like her father, other than looks, she adores science, loves learning new material, and invents almost non-stop. But unlike her dad, she was neither born nor raised on Earth--she was born and raised in space!

Daisy- is the twin sister of Maxwell. She is the only daughter of Dee Dee and Mandark. She has her mother's eyes, and her father's hair. She is obsessed with flowers, plants, trees, and creating new ways to help the environment. While she loves studying about plants, she is also an avid dancer like her mom.

Maxwell- is the twin brother of Daisy, and the only son of Dee Dee and Mandark. He has his mother's hair and his father's eyes. He also inherited both his mother's hyperactivity and his father's temper. While, he's naturally smart and clever, he has a love for fighting and martial arts. He's also very protective of his sister.

Dexter- the CEO and founder of DexCorps. a space program that designs cities in space surrounding the earth. He has a daughter, Dinah, whom he adores.

Dee Dee- the world's famous ballerina--and mother of two. She is also the wife of Prime Minister Mandark, whom she deeply loves. While she has grown exponentially from her naive ways as a child, she still pure and hyperactive to a point. She has two main goals in life, making sure her family is happy and healthy, and dancing.

Mandark- the Prime Minister of the space cities and husband of Dee Dee. It is because of his love for Dee Dee that he decided to end his feud with Dexter and help him construct the space cities. Eventually, he fathered Daisy and Maxwell, and his life has never been fuller.

This is my own rendition of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A practice that is strongly recognised by the Catholic Church where it highlights Christ’s divinity and humanity. In original paintings the core imageries are the heart, the cross, the crown of thorns, the wound, and the flames.

Here are the differences:

-I used the silhouette of an actual human heart.

-I combined the cross and the wound as a slit of light in the shape of the cross, with veins rooting out from the cross, indicating how we are all affected and connected to Christ’s sacrifice, pain, and love.

-Instead of a small flame, the heart is almost completely engulfed by fire—His fire that burns away all sin

-I initially wanted to put a crown of thorns surrounding the heart, but I have this motto where ‘less is more,’ and I was mostly afraid that it would be too much. Perhaps I’ll go back and add something in the near future or so.

Yes, I know who voices Thaedus--and yes, I know what happens to him, so no need for spoilers...

I've watched a lot of clips on YouTube--God, these Viltrumites are horrible! They make the Saiyans look like churchgoers!-- anyway, I'm always impressed with Peter Cullen's voice work. I hope to hear him do more as Prime. Most importantly, I hope he's doing well.
