So, last night I went to my Best friend’s party....
Omg, okay, so you know yesterday I was asking for advice about my best friend's B-day party right? Welllll, I went...AND I HAD A BLAST! One of the reasons I was super super anxious because I was really afraid of seeing my ex friend there. (And he was, of course.) At first, I was all 'Nope nope nope, can't do this'. But then I told myself 'Kayla, you can do this. Just go to your best friend, ignore the ex friend, pretend he's not there.' So I did. I didn't even acknowledge his presence! (The reason why I didn't want to see him is because, if you don't know, a couple weeks ago, he and his friend told me basically to die, by saying there'd be free beer when I die, so, I mean why WOULD I wanna talk to someone like that?) Anyways, but that's not the best part! Once I got there and chatted with my Best friend, he got up...AND LEFT THE TABLE! :D So, I got to stay with my best friend longer (At first I wasn't gonna stay long if he had stayed there.) but he left! And after a while he sang (I put earphones on because I didn't want to even hear him, oops) and after that, he and his friends LEFT! :D Like, actually left left the building! SO, basically, I won! ;) I didn't let my anxiety get to me. :) AND, I got to stay till 1:00 A.M singing with my friend (We sang Telephone by Lady Gaga and Beyonce) I had so much fun :')
But yeah, I'm just so relieved that everything worked out awesome! And, also, my stepmom told me that out of ALL the people who sang last night, I was the best song because I was actually on pitch (There was this one lady singing an ABBA song, and she sounded bored, lol.) But yeah, omg, it's now the next day, but I'm still SO SO SO SO HAPPY today!!! :D
I need some advice.
Okay, so today’s m best friend’s birthday party and she’s having a party at the bar tonight...and I told her I’d go to support her (Since I didn’t go last year due to my anxiety.) I wanna go to make it up for her...but I couldn’t sleep at all last night due to stressing out about how many people that will be there, and also if I see an ex friend that I never want to see again. (He was being an asshole, but long story.) I’ve been contemplating whether or not I should go because of those reasons, yet I don’t want to upset her. She knows I have anxiety, but also another reason I feel I should go is because last year when I didn’t go, her mom was yelling at me on facebook, saying that anxiety is ‘no excuse’ to miss my friend’s birthday party. So I’m super super anxious guy, I don’t know what to do. I feel sick to my stomach right now. What should I do?
